Chapter 1
Bella POV
Hi my name is Bella, this is my story of how one thing changed my life...
I'm walking down the hallway of a new school again. I just moved back in with my father, I had been living with my mother but she wanted to travel and maybe meet a new man. So I came back to live with my dad on the la push reservation. And that's how I came to wonder the halls of La Push High School.
BANG
"Ouch" I say as I fall on to the floor. I look around wondering what I had run in to. When I look up I see a really buff tall tan guy glaring at me. So it was him, I had run into him I thought to myself. Shyly I look up and whisper "sorry".
The guy just smirks and says "Watch where you're going next time Kitten" then turns and leaves.
I just stare at him confused as to why he had called me Kitten. I shake my head trying to clear my thoughts before getting up and continuing to walk around trying to find the main office.
A boy appears out of nowhere and smiles at me. "Hi I'm Jacob! Your Isabella right, my dad Billy and your dad are like best friends" I smile up at him remembering that my dad had told me Jacob would come find me at school today. "Yeah I think we used to make mud pies together when we were younger". He chuckles and nods his head with a silly half grin on his face.
"Where you headed?" He asks looking at the confused look on my face. "I'm looking for the main office so I can get my schedule and the other paperwork I will be needing" He nods and takes my hand. "I can show you, come with me" he says and he starts pulling me down the hall.
"You really didn't have to walk me but thank you." I say to him before heading inside to get my schedule and paperwork. Jacob follows silently behind me into the office. I didn't notice till we turned around to leave after getting all my paperwork and schedule that the guy I ran into today was watching me from across the hall. I turn and whisper to Jacob "Who is that guy?" pointing at him.
Jacob looks at whom I was talking about before taking my hand and walking fast into our first class (surprise we have almost every class together, Jacob seemed happy about that fact). As we sit down at a desk Jacob turns to me and says "His name is Paul Lahote, he is known as school royalty. Paul and his sister Leah run the place, no one has ever stood up to them. I really don't like the way he was staring at you, so please be careful and stay away from them." Right as I'm about to tell him I will, Paul walks up grabs my hand and leads my out of the classroom as everyone in the room stares at us.
Crap what do I do now?!
