"One group will go to the sea shore, Another will go to the berry fields and the remaining group will be going to the woods where everyone will forage for food!" Miss McFall announced before the three separate groups left the school canteen. The group going to the sea shore were with Nikki Boston, The group going to the berry fields were with Audrey McFall and the group going to the woods were with Simon Lowsley.
Barry Barry was in the group that was going to the woods. He had prepared for the trip in advance, But he wasn't really interested in foraging for food. He was just concerned at getting his hands on some magic mushrooms that he hoped he could find in the woods. Barry had photocopied pages on mushrooms from a book so he knew exactly what to look for.
When Mr Lowsley's group got into the forest, Barry hid in a hollow tree trunk until his group advanced further into the woods. Barry then left his hiding place and ran back in the direction he had come in order to begin his search for mushrooms.
Barry had been looking around for no longer than twenty minutes when he found some strange looking mushrooms growing up the side of a tree. Barry picked some and shoved them in his pockets before holding a single mushroom in his hand. He inspected it before shrugging and taking a bite. Barry didn't feel any different so he ate the whole head off the mushroom before he ate three more.
About ten minutes later, Barry felt strange. He was suddenly quite happy and he thought everything was great. He then heard Mr Lowsley's voice, "BARRY!? WHERE ARE YOU!?". Barry started to walk towards the voice and soon Mr Lowsley spotted him. Mr Lowsley grabbed Barry's arm and instantly noticed something was up with him. "What's wrong with you Barry?" Simon asked. Barry laughed, "Nothing sir! I feel happy today!"
Simon frowned and sent his group of students back towards the school. Simon then couldn't stop himself. He kissed Barry there and then in the middle of the woods. He thought it would have been best to wait until the teenager was quite vulnerable. Simon's thoughts payed off as Barry was kissing Simon back...
