"Kendall, stay quiet!" James quieted Kendall as they planted their bodies on the ground.

The room was huge and yet only silence filled it.

Kendall was one of the baddest guys in the room but he had to admit, he was scared. He could feel the three guys covered in black with guns hover over him.

"No talking!" The lectured.

Kendall rolled his eyes and turned towards to James. He whispered "What the hell is going on!"

"When you went to the bathroom these guys came in and told us to get down." James bit his lip, breathless. His chest going up and down in a fast motion he eyed his friend. "They have us hostage."

"Hostage?" The thought of her walking in during this made him scared to death. "No, no, no, no, no!" He began to cry. "Ana is supposed to meet me here any minute." He shook tears off his face. "What if she gets hurt?"

James gave Kendall a reasurring look. "She'll be fine."

"Can you not listen!" One of the guys in a thick latin accent viciously hit James against the head with his gun. "I said shut up!"

James' eyes widened at the second his weight crashed onto the ground. His face looked extemely pale; he always looked so full of happiness no matter what but this, changed him completely.

Kendall watched in shock at his best friend suddenly spit out blood and he felt his jaw drop.

Looking to his left, he saw Ana jump out of her car from the window and he jumped up.

"Ana!" He screamed on the top of his lungs. The second he did, one of the men keeping them hostage fired a bullet. He didnt notice how many people were in the small shack until now. Dodging the bullet, he ran as fast as he could towards the door. Miraculously, he found a way to dodge every bullet.

Pushing the door open, practically pushing it off its hinges, Kendall gained speed and ran towards Ana.

"Ana!" He grabbed onto her shoulders pulling her into a hug in less then a second. "Are you okay?"

"Kendall," she pushed him away. "What's going on?"

"The place . . ." He shakily pointed at the store but another bullet flew.

Pulling Ana down with him, they both crouched behind her car and Kendall tightly held her close. "Did i mention three psychos took this place hostage?"

Ana chuckled. He always found a way to make a serious moment funny.

"No, you didn't. Why didn't you get help?"

"Because," he ran his hand though his hair. "I had to make sure you're okay."
