Another kick, another punch, another slap. How much could Barbara take? She wanted to die! Well of course she put up with this stuff as Batgirl , but this wasn't supposed to happen in a relationship. In a relationship you love the other person, and you didn't want to hurt that other person. Barbara sat on her bed , with tears falling from her eyes. The tears were smearing her make-up everywhere , but she didn't care. The tears wern't just tears of sadness, the were tears of hurt and anger too! She was in pain from all the cuts, bruises, and scrapes on her body. She remember it all started after Dick left to start the Teen Titans. Juan had just moved to Gotham and his father worked with hers. They soon became very close, and then became best friends.
Their handshakes became hugs, and the hugs turned into kisses on the cheek, the kisses on their cheek turned into quick kisses on the lips ,and then started the makeout sessions. She felt Juan was the only person she could trust with all her secrets. She almost told him about her " Night Job". Then one summer , he went to the beach, wit his family and they invited Barbara. One of the nights they were walking along the beach hand in hand. It was pretty romantic.
Then he started asking her questions about her ex-boyfriends, and if she still had feelings for any of them. She told him she still had a teeny crush on Dick. hen he lost control of his anger. He pushed her down into the water and started kicking her, calling her a bitch and a slut.
Barbara feel asleep thinking about these things, but soon, she would dream about more.
