A/N: Another entry for challenge #36 on xoxLewrahxox's forum. theme- love, characters- Tonks and Remus, object- coat. I tried to exhibit some pregnant mood swings, but the last time I was around a pregnant person was 9 years ago, so I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just supposed to be funny. I also tried some British insults. And first person. MY POINT: this is just something I'm trying so feedback would be nice ;). It's 400 words minus this note :)

Disclaimer: I am not J.K. Rowling.

Remus had finally come back. He'd been a pretty big twat for the last few months, but I was so glad he was back that I didn't care as much as I should have.

We were going out tonight. Not that it was going to be really romantic or anything, what with my protruding belly. Part of the reason I was glad Remus was done being a tosser was that it really isn't as easy to move around and function normally when you're this pregnant. I mean, Mum's been helping, but she needs some time to cope after Dad died.

So tonight, Remus is taking me out. Well, not out, really, because we're in hiding and all, but he's arranged a nice little dinner in the garden. It's quite adorable.

Thank Merlin he put some warming charms up, though, 'cause it's pretty cold out.

"May I take your coat, Madame?"

There he was, waiting to take my coat for me. My husband. How thoughtful of him.

"Dora, what's wrong?" His face was filled with worry. "Are you okay? Is the baby okay?" He glanced down at my stomach.

I hadn't noticed I was crying. "Yes, Remus, I'm fine," I quickly wiped away my tears. "I'm just so happy you're back. And that you're mine."

He was a bit surprised when I kissed him, but he responded soon enough.

"Dora," he managed to get out between kisses. "Maybe we should… get back to dinner."

My stomach rumbled at the thought of food.

"Yeah, we're starved." I looked down at where my baby was, the miracle of life inside of me.

Remus removed my coat, still flushed in the face, and I sat down.

"What's for dinner?" I asked eagerly; my last snack had been a while ago.

He lifted the cover on the tray, and the smell coming from that plate… it was disgusting. I puked.

I looked at the sick on Remus' shoes. "Sorry." It was more of a moan.

"Don't worry, it's okay, I'll clean it up. You go lay down, and I'll make you some soup," he looked at me and hastily added, "Or whatever you want."

I smiled and waddled back into the house. Remus is making some toast for me downstairs now, so I changed into my pyjamas and got into bed. I think I'll just close my eyes for a moment until Remus comes back….
