Cakes And Kisses
"Max!" Taylor said angrily as she watched as Max quickly took his hand out of the cake. She only had her back turned for one second and than this happens. As Max continued to plead and say that he was sorry and it wouldn't happen again. Taylor just glared at Max with her eyes glistening as tears threatened to fall. The other rangers then watched as Taylor stalked off they knew she wanted to be alone; so they respected her wishes and let her be. Once Taylor was gone Danny and Alyssa just glared at Max who was now shrugging his shoulders sheepishly.
"Sorry guys" Max started to say before Alyssa interrupted and said "Sorry isn't going to cut it Max. Taylor was working on that cake since morning before you came along and ruined it." "I bet she can replace it with something else I mean come on it's just a cake" Max said; Danny and Alyssa both looked at each other in disbelief could Max be this dense. "Max listen" Danny started to say "Taylor cooked that cake with love she wanted to give Cole his very first birthday he ever had; then you came along and did something stupid. Plus you'll have to find some way and apologize to Taylor and hope she forgives you." Looking down at his feet Max sighed loudly and said as he looked back at Danny and Alyssa and said "I guess you're right guys.
Question now is how am I going to fix this mess." Max looked pleadingly at Danny and Alyssa for some help but the pair refused to get involved; this was Max's problem to fix. All the while this was going on the trio failed to realize that Cole saw and heard everything. Sighing Cole quietly slipped away to find his girlfriend Taylor it didn't take long to find her though; since she was crying her eyes out. Hearing someone approach Taylor quickly wiped her tears away to make it look like she wasn't crying. Taylor then felt two arms wrap themselves around her waist pulling her into its chest; "What's with the tears Taylor?" Cole whispered into his girlfriend's ear he knew what happened but wanted to hear it from her own mouth. "I am not crying I don't know what you talking about Cole" Taylor said since she was in a slight bit of denial.
"Yes you do know what I am talking about Taylor I saw and heard everything. Plus I think you were a little bit to hard on Max yeah he made a mistake but didn't mean too" was all Cole could say. Before Taylor whipped around in his arms and slightly glared at him; Cole could also see some sadness in her eyes "a mistake Cole I think you mean Max made a big mistake." Taylor then buried her face deep into Cole's chest mumbling incoherently. Making Cole say "I am sorry Tay I didn't quite catch that would you mind repeating that please."
Not wanting to look Cole in the eyes Taylor said " I just wanted to make this special for you and Max had to go and ruin it!" Taylor then added "Plus it was supposed to be the first birthday you ever had and I even made a cake since yeah know were boyfriend and girlfriend even that went down the tubes." Taylor never got to say anything else as she was interrupted by Cole kissing her. After breaking the kiss Cole looked Taylor in the eyes as he pulled her into his lap and said " I don't need cake for my birthday to make it special." "But" Taylor was about to protest when Cole silenced her by placing a finger on her lips. Once Cole made sure that Taylor was silent again Cole added "All I need is you"; and with that Cole kissed Taylor with everything he had.
