The flight.
"Ali come on the cab is here" Emily yelled up the stairs to her girlfriend. The two were finally going to their dream destination, the place they had wanted to go ever since they were teenagers it was finally happening.
"I'm coming Em" Ali said as she rushed down the stairs with a bag on her shoulder.
"Not yet you're not" Emily smirked, once the words left the brunettes lips Ali's eyes went wide in shock.
"I'm sorry did I just hear you correctly? Did Emily Fields just say something about sex without getting all embarrassed?" Alison joked which caused Emily to blush.
"Shut up and let's go" Emily said and the two left their apartment and quickly got into the cab and before they knew it they were at the airport.
"We have about half an hour to check in and everything when you're supposed to be two hours early" Emily sighed as they rushed towards the check in place; dragging their suitcases behind them.
"Oh shut up, you were the one who didn't wake me up" Alison rolled her eyes at the taller girl as the waited in line. It took the two about 20 minutes to just get to the desk to check their bags in, they were nearly on their way to the gate when Alison got stopped for something in her hand luggage.
"I'm sorry ma'am but I'm going to have to take these off of you" the security guard said holding some foundation and perfume in his hands.
"Oh hell no" Alison snapped as Emily came up behind the blonde to see what was going on. "I'm sorry but do you realise how much those two products cost?"
"No idea but I do know that you aren't allowed them in your hand luggage" he said and Alison glared at the man.
"Why? What could I possibly do with those two things on a goddamn plane its makeup and a bottle of perfume" Alison snapped getting angrier each time the guy spoke.
"Honestly I don't know I don't make the rules"
"Well the rules are stupid I just want my things back" Alison said.
"I'm sorry I can't help you but I am going to have to ask you to move along you're holding the line up" he said stepping aside for Ali to walk past; instead she just stood there glaring at him again.
"Fucking bullshit you aren't sorry at all" Ali snapped at him and Emily just stood there really uncomfortable as people were now staring at the blonde.
"Ali come on, I did tell you to put them in your suitcase" Emily said quietly.
"You should've listened to your friend" the guard said.
"Girlfriend actually" Alison corrected him.
"Ali please let's just go ill buy you a new perfume and foundation it's okay" Emily said tugging on her girlfriends hand, but Ali still wouldn't move.
"See what you just did, you just made my girlfriend lose nearly $150 because of your stupid fucking rules" Alison said before grabbing her bag and Emily's hand, they walked towards the gate for their plane.
"Wait why would you pay nearly $150 on perfume and makeup?" Emily asked still shocked.
"It's not actually that much I lied to see if he would give them back, altogether they cost about $80" Alison shrugged as they got closer to the gate when they decided to grab some food because their plane hadn't been called yet. They both decided to get a Subway, when they were sat eating a voice came on the speakers around the airport; but it wasn't clear so they couldn't understand what was said.
"What time is it babe?" Alison asked her girlfriend as she threw their trash away.
"Shit, come on we gotta go" Emily said they got their bags and ran towards the gate. As they got there Ali suddenly stopped running and let go of Emily's hand.
"We missed it Em" Ali whispered, "we missed the flight."
"Don't worry we'll get the next one" Emily smiled placing a finger under the blondes chin. She lifted her head up a little and Emily pressed their lips together in a soft kiss.
