Prologue: The Boy That Went Missing.
Cameron Snap was an eight year old boy who slept in his bunk bed with his little sister Katie who was only four, next to the wide pane of window that covered the whole wall, you could see the whole district of Odaiba from there.
Cameron twist and turned in his bed, causing high pitched creaks from the bed to ring out, Katie woke up and her stomach rumbled, she quietly climbed up to the top bunk to wake her bother who was loudly snoring now with drool leaking from his mouth.
"Cameron wake up… Cameron wake up." Katie whispered tugging at his body.
"What is it… it's the middle of the night." Cameron mumbled with his eyes only being half way open.
"Cameron, I can't get back to sleep and I'm hungry." Katie moaned still tugging at his brother.
"Okay I'm up, I guess I'm hungry too, let's check what's in the fridge." Cameron woke up, climbing down the bunk bed ladder quietly and slowly turning the lamp on.
Now with the light on they could see each other better,Cameron had a sharp face, his hair was brown and spiky which looked vaguely similar to a Dragon Ball character with several bangs down his forehead, with green arched eyes, he wore his pyjamas which were a dinosaur onesie.
Katie had jet black hair, that went down to her spine, she had rounded black eyes, she wore pyjamas also which were a bunny onesie.
They both tiptoed towards the kitchen, and steadily opened the fridge hoping little to no noise came out, the only thing there was stuff that weird people would eat like, Pickles, Jam and Mayonnaise.
"That's all yucky stuff." Katie stated sticking her tongue, Cameron made a face of annoyance.
"I guess we have to go to the vending machine." he replied counting some pennies that laid in his mother's purse.
Cameron and Katie walked down the apartment block, coming across the vending machine, because of his stubby legs, Cameron used his tippy toes to reach the keypad and coin slot, he inserted the coins and then he selected the treat he want but nothing came out, Cameron kept mashing the keypad but that proved to be a bad idea when the machine short circuited causing Cameron to fall back.
"Stupid machine." Cameron cursed still bashing it.
"Cameron, I'm hungry why don't we go to the next one across the street?" Katie requested Miles.
"Okay Katie but if this doesn't work out, we're going back home." Cameron answered.
The two travelled across the street to use the next machine, Katie inserted the pennies and the same thing happened, nothing came out, the machine short circuited again, something weird was going on, giving up since Cameron wanted to go back to sleep they headed back to their apartment.
Later that night another supernatural happening was going on, a bright light flashed into the sky, waking Katie up again, she climbed to the top bunk and tugged viciously at Cameron waking him up.
"What is it this time Katie?" he moaned.
"Cameron, look outside." she pointed to the flashing light.
"Woah, that's my school… we need to get there quick." Cameron looked in awe.
"Now where is it… where is it?" he mumbled scavenging his toy boy, "Here it is, my camera." He proclaimed showing his camera to Katie.
Cameron rushed down the complex with his camera in hand, Katie followed, they reached the entrance and Cameron quickly unlocked his BMX bike, he got on with Katie holding onto his back.
Cameron got to the school grounds, he parked his bike and helped Katie over the locked gate.
"Wow it's so foggy." Cameron commented trying to look through the sudden fog, Katie walked on through without Cameron noticing.
"WAHH, CAMERON HELP ME!" Katie cried for help.
Cameron ran to her voice, he saw Katie being dragged in to a dark whole by some dark hand that had some corrupted data effects spilling out of it.
"LET GO OF HER YOU MONSTER!" Cameron yelled pulling his sister out of the corrupted hand's grasp, thinking of solutions he kicked Katie out of the monsters grasp as hard as he could, the monster wasn't going to be defeated that easily, as a last resort he grabbed Cameron dragging him down into the black hole.
"CAMERRRRROOON!" Katie screamed as the black whole closed up, Katie ran back home crying.
The Next Morning.
Mrs. Snap peaked through the children's bedroom and see Katie uncomfortably twisting and turning in her bottom bunk like she was having a nightmare except that nightmare was real, she looked to see Cameron wasn't in his top bunk.
"Cameron is probably playing with his friends already surprising for a Saturday morning." she thought to herself.
Mrs. Snap proceeded into the kitchen to prepare herself some tea for her husband and herself.
When she was going to get a teaspoon from the drawer she pulled out the wrong drawer but noticed something strange.
"That's weird my the purse where I keep my spare change is missing, I wonder who took it? Maybe it was George doing a midnight snack run, he was home late last night or maybe it was Cameron getting a breakfast snack from the vending machine…hmm?" she wondered stirring the tea.
A slight creak caught Mrs. Snap's ears, it was a weepy eyed Katie coming out of her room.
"Good morning Katie, some toast for breakfast?" Mrs. Snap asked, Katie didn't speak she only nodded as her answer.
Mrs. Snap served Katie her buttered toast and orange juice on the table, Katie looked off today to say the least, Mrs. Snap just thought it was a bit of morning tiredness.
"I'm off to work honey, I'll be back at five." George stated holding, bundles of pages in his arms and two briefcases in his hands, he scooted out the door but was quickly stopped dead in his tracks.
"Mr. Snap we have something to tell you." A bearded police man with his other bearded colleague, stood proud with their neat uniform in front of Mr. Snap.
"George what's going on?" Mrs. Snap asked.
"It's about your son… he's went…" the words faded from the police officer as Mr. Snap dropped everything out of his hands with it scattering all over the place and Mrs. Snap dropped her tea which spilled over Mr. Snap's work.
Their son Cameron has gone missing.
"We could only find this as it was the only trace left we could find." the police officer handed them Cameron's camera.
"It's my purse he went out ans…he couldn't be missing." Mrs. Snap said in denial coming to he knees and crying in her hands.
