Author's Note: Hey! My name is Nebuleer, and this is the first time I'm writing fanfiction. Lame, I know, but I've never been sure what to do, hahaha. So yeah, this story will be a Fairy Tail fanfiction based around OCs of mine and Kitty's. I hope for it to be pretty long! I'd love to see what you guys think of it, so please don't be afraid to give a little critique here and there c: I'm also a budding artist so expect to see artwork of some scenes from here, too! It will include canon characters and made up characters, so don't be scared lol (I really hope I don't butcher Hiro Mashima's awesome characters)
Anywho! I hope to make it a rollercoaster of feels, laughter and romance so hold onto your butts and enjoy the ride C:

Update Schedule: This story will be updated every 2-3 weeks. I am a school student, so this ensures that I get a good grade and that the chapters are as good as they can be.. sorry for such a bad upload schedule ;n;

Rating: K+ (Some swearing will be included, but not a lot... and some gory fight scenes xD)

The teenager looked up from her glass. Her crystal blue eyes stared into the distance, the colours seemed to shift like a diamond in the sunlight as her sight bore into a far off wall. The tavern was filled with jolly, drunk men- this girl being the only woman in the room apart from the bartender who didn't seem to be bothered by the commotion. It didn't take long for one if the intoxicated men to spot the lonesome girl and approach her, a goofy grin plastered on his face.
"So, babe. What's up?" He asked almost too confidently.
She didn't shift her gaze from the distant wall.
"Oohh, so you're the silent but deadly kind? They can be fun." The drunk man stated.
Then, the blue gaze turned to the drunk man's face. Under the hood her face was shrouded in shadow so only the bottom half of her face was visible in the dim lighting.
"What did you just say?" She demanded.
The man started to laugh. In response, the girl's expression changed from menacing to full confusion.
"You can't be joking.. You're just a little girl. You can't fight."
Abruptly, the teenager stood from her chair. Her hood slipped off to reveal pure white, short and straight hair which seemed to be spiky on its ends.
"D'you wanna test that theory?" She threatened, her fists clenched at her sides.
Taken aback by her sudden burst of anger, the drunk man took a few steps backwards. As he did this, a crackling sound could be heard from the teenager.
"W-what's that sound...?" He asked, scared.
The teenager grinned.
"Ever seen electricity before, you idiot?" She taunted, lifting up her left fist to reveal sparks of electricity sparking around her clenched fingers.
"Thunder magic?" A man from another table asked.
The whole room fell silent.
"Not quite, but your guess was warm." The wizard responded.
Another person piped up.
"Ohh, it Dragon Slayer magic, isn't it? The lost art that can only be taught by dragons?"
It was the bartender lady who had spoken.
Surprised, all the teenager could do was nod. She hadn't expected for it to be guess so fast.
A chanting of the words 'dragon slayer' rung through the room as the drunken men discussed what they'd just witnessed.
It didn't take long for a question to be piped up.
"So, who exactly are you?"

The teenager smiled once more, her grin now toothy and wide.

"My name is Michiko, and I am a Thunder Dragon Slayer."

The man looked at Michiko, his green eyes wide with fear as her fist crackled with electricity. Her own blue eyes shone in the dim light, anger was evident in them. There was something about her stance as well, as though it was pure instinct. Her feet were shoulder width apart, with the right foot about half a foot forward than the left. Her hands were clenched and held at her side, tense and ready to strike.
"D-Dragon Slayer Magic? That's really rare!" A voice piped up from another corner of the room.
The tavern went silent.
Michiko looked around at all the fearful faces turned to her, and noticed that webs of electricity were coiling over her arms, pulsing from her palms.
"Yeah? Well, maybe you'd like to feel what Dragon Slayer magic feels like firsthand!" Michiko said menacingly, her face was plastered with a smile. She was obviously enjoying this.
As she took a step towards she heard a voice from another table.

"You might not want to hurt him."
Michiko's eyes scanned the faces and saw one that didn't seem fazed by her magic. His face bore no emotion whatsoever, and his eyes glared at the girl with a gaze more menacing than hers.
"What do you mean, half-pint?" She asked.
The man blinked.
"What kind of insult is that?" He questioned before getting up from his seat. He moved towards her with a gait that seemed more like a glide and his pale blonde fringe moved gracefully upon his face.
"Come with me, Dragon Slayer, I require your attendance."
Michiko's eyes widened with confusion.
"To where?"
The man looked at her, his expression hadn't changed.
"Outside. I don't want you to destroy the poor bartender's tavern."
It didn't take long for the electricity to stop pulsing over her body. Her white hair then flattened out, no longer effected by the static caused by her magic.
Once out of the tavern, the man turned to her and studied her with his emotionless blue and yellow eyes.
"You really are crazy." He said plainly under his breath.
Michiko's face fell.
"Who are you to call me crazy?"
"A person who has sworn his allegiance to crazy people. The same crazy people who are looking to recruit you."

Michiko stared at him as though she couldn't believe he was being serious.
"Wait, so a guild?" She stated, surprised.
The man's eyes looked up, he was obviously contemplating his next move. His eyes seemed to be deep in concentration as he carefully mapped out his next words before speaking once more.
"Yes. Have you heard of Fairy Tail at all?" He asked.
Michiko hesitated. Of course she hadn't heard of that guild before. She'd never intended on joining a guild, so didn't see it necessary to get herself involved in any talk about them. But she didn't say this to the man. Instead, she crossed her arms and closed her eyes.
"No, I've never heard of it," she said simply, "And I'm not interested. Sorry to disappoint you."
With that she turned around and headed down the street in the other direction. She flipped her hood back over her white hair and continued to walk without looking back.
It wasn't long before she heard a fast pattering of feet on hard earth approaching her from behind. She could also hear a faint jingling. Keys?
Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder and so she twisted her body around, aiming a punch at the culprit.
"What the hell is wrong with you, you creep?!" She yelled.
When she finished her frantic effort to harm the man, she realised that her fist had not reached its target. Instead, the man had his hand in a tight grip over her wrist.
"You're strong. Mavis wants you."

Her teeth were tightly clenched. Michiko didn't know how to respond to this. It didn't take long for the man to loosen his grip. Michiko immediately thrust her fist away from him and forced it to her side. Her blue eyes were staring intensely at him.
"I-Who is Mavis?" She asked, breaking a long silence.
"Mavis Vermillion. She is a wizard, also the Master of Fairy Tail."
Master..?
"Wait, so you're not the Master?" She'd expected for the Master to go around recruiting people for their guild.
"No. I'm merely a member. Mavis asked me to go in search for you."
Michiko fiddled with the fabric of her skirt as she listened to the man's explanation. Quick and to the point? What kind of guy is he...?
The Dragon Slayer sighed.
"I haven't made a good name for myself, have I? Why would Mavis want someone who starts up bar fights to get stronger?" She enquired, an eyebrow raised quizzically.
"Well, Mavis heard of the incident when you protected the old couple from the group of bandit wizards that were raiding their village. You fought them and sent them on their way while returning all the stolen goods in the process. She admires people who go out of their way to help others. When she found out that you weren't part of a guild, she became more determined to get you in ours." The man explained, in a way that would make someone think that he'd recited it in his head many times over.
Michiko looked at the ground, her eyes narrowed as she considered the offer.
"You saved the village and protected the elderly couple. If you want to do more of that, join Fairy Tail. You can do so much more there, and have some comrades while you're at it." He urged, although his voice was still quite flat and emotionless.
Michiko looked up at the man once more.
I really don't have anything else better to do, I guess.
"I accept your offer."
Michiko swore she heard a quiet sigh of triumph come from the emotionless man before he spoke once more.
"Brilliant. My name is Nebeski, follow me and I'll take you to your new home, Magnolia."
