Chapter One-October 20, Midnight-Perspective Of Scorpion
There I stood in front of my defeated rival. Bi-Han was expecting death, but Raiden had made me an offer. The Shirai Ryu will walk the earth again, and Sub-Zero will not die as payment. Quan Chi entered through a portal.
"Well done, Scorpion. Finish him." He ordered. I didn't move.
"Scorpion, it wasn't me. I may have killed you, and for that alone, you deserve the revenge. But the Shirai Ryu, that was not the Lin Kuei. It was Quan Chi, he's lying to you!" Bi-Han said. I stood silent.
"Scorpion, I ordered you to kill him! Do it! You aren't listening to him, are you?" Quan Chi asked me.
"Maybe I am, what of this, Noob Saibot you were creating?" I inquired.
"What does he have to do with it?" He asked me.
"Show him to me." I demanded.
"That isn't possible."
"Why is that? Perhaps its because he doesn't truly exist. Noob Saibot, is Bi-Han. You knew I would kill him, and you were going to resurrect him as you did me!"
"Maybe I was, but why does that relate to the Shirai Ryu? Who is feeding you these lies, Hanzo?"
"No one, the only liar here, is you!" In the blink of an eye, a grabbed my sword, turned around, and slashed upwards, hitting Quan Chi across his face, and knocked an eye out of his head. Before he fell, I grabbed him by throat and held him over the Netherrealm's magma. Quan Chi chanted something.
"No sorcery will allow you to escape this fate." I said. A portal opened nearby, and Baraka and Reptile. I dropped Quan Chi, and he fell, he created a portal before he burned to death, but his hand went it, and was burnt to ashes. He appeared by the tarkatan and saurian warriors, his remaining hand holding where his right eye used to be.
"You cannot defeat three of us, traitor!" Baraka yelled, his blades emerging from his arms.
"No, but I will not retreat. Face me!" I yelled back, prepared to die for the second time.
"Hanzo..." I heard Sub-Zero faintly whisper behind me, amazed that I spared and defended him. The sound of thunder crashed behind me, than I felt a hand grab my shoulder, than I was back in Earthrealm, straight back to Shang Tsung's Throne Room. It was Raiden, whom took both me and Sub-Zero back. Quan Chi, Baraka, and Reptile came back.
"No escape!" Baraka yelled some more. Shang Tsung stood up.
"A challenge! To everyone's surprise, Scorpion has changed sides, who will now work with Sub-Zero and Raiden, and face Quan Chi, Baraka, and Reptile!" He said aloud. Sub-Zero was too injured to fight. Raiden and I defeated Reptile, but Baraka took me down with a strike to the torso. I lay watching as Raiden fought and beat the tarkatan general, but couldn't do the same with Quan Chi.
"Finish him!" Shang Tsung yelled. Before his death, he got a vision, and used a spell whilst holding his amulet. Than, he was dead, his head lay beside my near lifeless body.
"The winner i-" Shang Tsung began, when a loud voice interrupted him. It was Sub-Zero, barely standing.
"This fight isn't over!" He yelled while charging, Kori Blade in hand, and gave a fatal strike to the necromancer's chest.
"Hmm, very well. Earthrealm's forces have won this fight." Shang Tsung said. I was fading.
