Alright guys! This is my third story!!! Yay! This is my entry for the nejiten month on deviantart!!! I would give you guys a link but I've been banded from there by my parents!!! Oh well, any who I do not own naruto, and if I did Tenten would have more screen time!!!
Rain poured down from the heavens as I sat happily in the love seat in my room. I was finally getting the day off I needed! Gai- sensei had us doing the hardest training sessions I had ever had. And it was getting to my body, I have pulled at least 3 muscles and Sakura was going to put me on bed rest for a month. I had been training from 4 in the morning till 11, taking a lunch break, then right back to training until 9. Lucky the rainy season final rolled in and I got my well deserved rest…or not….
A loud banging broke the peace full silence that filled my apartment.
"TENTEN!!!! ARE YOU IN THERE?!?!?!" a very familiar voice boomed, making my fall out of my seat.
"I'm coming! I'm coming." I yell, yanking the door open to see my whole team out side my apartment.
"What do you want sensei?" I calmly ask, trying to keep the anger that was boiling within me down.
"We were wondering if you would join us for a nice little training session in the beautiful weather!" tears were running down his face as he pointed out the window behind me. Now that did it.
"Now Gai-sensei, I would love to go with you, but I'm afraid that I need to…." I glanced over at Lee, but I knew he wouldn't help, I looked around him and noticed we were one man short in our team. The only one who could help me come up with something out of this problem.
"Where's Neji?" Leaning out the door, I looked around the corner to check the hallway. Started by the statement, Gai and Lee both begin to search to the missing member.
"WHAT!!! Where did he go!!!" They both screeched taking off down the hall. I closed the door only to find another intruder of my peace, only this one isn't as loud as the two green beasts.
"Neji?" He lifted his head to look at me. "What are you doing?"
"Hiding from those two dopes." Was his only reply before he headed over to the window.
"Your not going out in that!!!" I reply, grabbing onto his shirt and yanked him back, before he could jump out of my window. I guess I pulled him back to hard because he landed on top of me. I could feel my face heat up as his is a few inches from mine.
'Uhh…umm…sorry…" I mumbled, trying my best to not stutter like Hinata always does around Naruto. I took notice that Neji's face was a light shade of pink as well.
"Hn." Was all I got before he pushed himself back up and off me. Raising myself with my elbows , a hand appeared in front of my face. Looking up I saw it was Neji, offering to help me up, which I gladly took. After pulling myself up, I looked up at him.
I'm really sorry about that, I didn't mean to-"My apologies we cut short as I felt someone's lips light press against mine, stopping everything that had to do with moving, It only lasted a few seconds and then the man who had just kissed me was out my window into the cold stormy afternoon. Well, I guess that's a good distraction
Its been a while since I've written a nejiten and I really think it shows, oh well R&R.
