It was a quiet lonely night in the World that Never Was, everyone was all sleeping in their comfortable beds. The only stirring in the night was the sound of Demyx's snoring.
SQUEEEAAAK! Sounded a door that echoed in the Hallway that could Possibly Be. Who was awake at this hour of the night?
A head of long silver hair peeked out the white door; glowing ember eyes seemed to be scanning down the hall in both directions as if trying to accomplish something in secrecy. It was none other than the Superior himself.
When he didn't notice anyone or hear anything prowling the hallways he stepped out and closed the door slowly and quietly. But still the door managed to sound a SQUEEEAAAK Yet again. He'd have to fix that later.
He tiptoed (What a sight) down the halls and walked through the Naught's Approach and finally made his way to the Altar of Naught.
Xemnas began to walk forward where Kingdom Hearts was shining bright. He cleared his throat and began to say very slowly,
"Twinkle, twinkle, Kingdom Hearts,
How I wonder how you are…" he cleared his throat again, unsure of himself. He turned around to make sure nobody had been watching. No one. He turned back to Kingdom Hearts and sang quietly,
"Up above the world so high.
Like a diamond in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle, Kingdom Hearts,
How I wonder how you are…" This time since Xemnas was for sure nobody was watching, he began to throw his hands in the air and sang louder.
"When the blazing sun is gone,
When there's nothing it shines upon,
Then you show your little light,
Twinkle, twinkle, through the night!
Twinkle, twinkle, Kingdom Hearts,
How I wonder how you are!" Xemnas obviously had a deep voice. He actually sounded like one of them Opera singers who sung so loud.
"In the dark blue sky so deep,
Through my curtains often peep,
For you never close your eyes,
Till the morning sun does rise,
Twinkle, twinkle, Kingdom Hearts!
How I wonder how you aaaarrrreeeee!" He dragged out the 'are' like a real opera singer did with a face so serious.
The melodious Nocturne quickly sat up in bed and was breathing heavily.
"A nightmare…" He whispered to himself. His breathing became slower and normal paced.
"Fewf, because if it wasn't a nightmare I would've-" Demyx was interrupted by the ringing of Xemnas' voice still singing the "Arrrreeeee!" The sitarists eyes widened and his mouth was agape.
"No, it can't be real!" He quickly swung his feet over the side of the bed and ran out of his room wearing his blue teddy bear Pajamas screaming like a little girl, waking up the entire Organization.
Xemnas cleared his throat once more and this time sang slowly,
"Twinkle, twinkle, Kingdom Hearts
How I wonder how you are…"
He finally finished his song to Kingdom Hearts and left the Altar of Naught like nothing happened. Demyx however was still running about the halls screaming for life. Tomorrow was not going to be a good day for the Melodious Nocturne because Marluxia did not intend having someone disrupt his beauty sleep.
