One of those days
Today was an important day. There was an awards assembly. To sum it all up, it was very interesting…Monica and I were in the gym with all the other seniors. We weren't expecting any thing, I only expected Monica to rant about Paramore and hot vampires from being human. Which she did. At the end, there was a ceremony for the happiest student in their class. Mrs. Barkalow said that I was, and instead of giving me a trophy, she gave me a box. It had a dress inside. I wore it soon after, feeling very queer. I was also given a bag, in which, had a bottle and a box full of sugar cookies. I ate one and immediately felt much MUCH queerer. I felt my heart beating heavily. Much to my surprise, the crowd seemed a lot smaller than when I last saw them. I glanced down at my hands in shock and gasped. A few seconds later I felt my head pressing the ceiling! "Oh my goodness! What just happened to me? Where have my feet gone? I should still make sure they are there" I moved my feet and sighed, this assembly is going to be big…real big.
Monica: Yes! Exclamation mark! She's an Alice! With the dress, it looks perfect! (Jumping up and down with excitement)
Me: Goodness! This is very strange. I seem to be HUGE! I have to get normal somehow!
Monica: I can't resist this moment! (Runs over to me, comparison, she is about an inch high to me)
Me: Oh, hi Monica. What do you want? I'm kind of in a dilemma right now… (Tearing up)
Monica: (loudly) look! The giantess is crying!
Me: Oh, how am I (sniff) to get small again? I'm too big to do anything (sniff) at ALL ! uhhuhuhuhuuuuu! (one very large tear falls and lands directly on top of Monica)
AUTHOR SAYS: THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GET TOO CLOSE TO A GIANTESS!
Monica: (soaking wet but grinning ear to ear) All I wanted to do was hug your toe!
Me: (surprised at this awkward request) HUH? … oh yah… you've always aspired to do that well I guess you can..might as well..( rolls eyes and shakes head as I take a shoe off)
Monica: (hugs toe and I cringe) Oh, you are so cool!
Me: Monica! Quit it! It's kind of embarrassing…
Monica (backs away) okay…
random gloves show up
Me : what's that? I should wonder…(picks them up) Gloves and a fan! They look cute. Though—(starts fanning oneself) I'm quite hot in here…(sighs, shrinking while talking) I wonder what next should happen to me! I will say though that this has been a very strange day – huh? These gloves, they seem to be bigger than before! Either they are getting bigger, or I'm –(pause to look down at self) getting smaller! AHHH! (rapidly shrinking) What is making me small again! I didn't do anything except for… these gloves! (shrinks upward and is falling from a great height) wha—ah-aaahhh! Oh dear! (closes eyes)
Then some one screams "Someone, catch HER!", and a big group of people came over to me and caught me just in time.
