The Elecmon growled at him, it's red and purple fur sticking up in agitation at him. The ends of his mouth turned up in satisfaction, he loved it when his prey thought they could beat him. Even the children who invaded the Digital World were no match for his strength and skill. If they couldn't beat him then the Elecmon just didn't have a chance. He had even defeated one of them, after all.
Elecmon leaped, a final desperate maneuver, at him with it's teeth bared. Even though he looked slow and dull-witted, he could move fast and quickly sidestepped the attack. Gripping the long wooden handle of his weapon of choice, which was a large war hammer, he turned around and jumped at the landing Elecmon behind him. The blow missed, due to Elecmon rolling away, and instead shattered the ground where the hammer had hit.
Great clods of earth and grass flew in every direction and Elecmon was pounded, not by the blow but the debris. He didn't mind the debris, it had barely affected him. The Elecmon gave a low whimper of pain and collapsed. "Too easy," he muttered as the familiar ring of code started to move lazily around Elecmon. He took care of it in his normal fashion, which was to suck it into his mouth.
A small cry came from behind him. A Piyomon that was on the smallish size had seen the battle and had given a squawk. He had seen it out of the corner of his eye. He gave a small smile to himself, it seemed like he was going to get more data today.
A quick jump and a fast swing with his hammer brought the Piyomon down quickly. "It must be my lucky day," he sighed happily.
Just a quick Grottomon drabble.
