A/N- I know that I should be updating my other stories but when I found out that there was an offbeat section I was ecstatic! This is a Tory x Colin fanfic. So don't get the wrong idea. Well you will understand more about it as you read more.

Chapter-1

The orange haired boy sighed as he sat upright in his bed. It seemed that he started, this 'little' depression stage on and off ever since he first realized that Colin just isn't like him. Or so Tory assumed.

The agony, and anguish he felt after he realized He would never be the same tedious 16 year old, always acting cynical about the world. His obsessive ness towards the dark raven haired youth across the street, and one of his –even if he would hate to admit it- friends, Mandy would never be the same in his eyes and theirs.

They had each other.

Every since that one night he witnessed a horrific site by his supposed friends.

Flashback

Tory finally got the courage to ask Colin on a date.. Well okay it was a study date but what's the difference? He quickly put on his regular red jacket with the white stripe down the sides, and a pair of plain black jeans, slicked down his hair in the mirror. He swiftly ran out to the door grabbing his keys "I'll be back later mom!" he yelled throughout the small apartment closing the door with a thump. There was a 75 percent chance that he would show up early for this event.

It was late autumn and the wind was howling terrifying moans in every direction. He hugged his coat closer, as he ran across the street to where dr. garrets and Colin's apartment complex was. He quickly buzzed the doorbell and a voice came on the intercom "what do you want? Colin's not here, he left to the library about a half hour ago he said something about it being important.. " his voice sounded stressed.

If he wasn't so freezing right now he probably would think of the doctors behavior quite odd, but right now he had other things on his mind. "Thanks.."

"So you will do me this favor..?" he looked up into the now frowning blondes eyes, "Are you sure that this is what you want? I mean I know that its hurting you but what

A-About 'him'?" She could see the absolute misery etched across his usual blank features

Tory had made it to the deserted library parking lot in record time when he heard two familiar voices. Deciding to catch his breath before going over to meet them he heard little fragments of their conversation.

".. Yes. I'm.. Sure that this is the right thing to do, f-for both of us" his voice faltered for a split second. Tory could feel his heart ripping in two, and being stomped on by his first true love, because his voice held so much emotion now with Mandy then he ever showed with him..

"I know that you think that this is what's right, but what about-" she was cut off from Colin. "I'm sure, I-I haven't felt like this before, so I'm positive that I am in love and that's why I have to do this-"

They both heard a strangled gasp coming from behind them. Colin whipped around in time to see the utter horror written all over Tory's face. "Tory-" Mandy whispered, he forced himself to look at 'her' one of his ex-friends.

"I don't want to hear it!.. I-I have to go.." His eyes glazed over with tears as he turned away and ran as far away as he could from this hellhole.

"Tory wait!" Colin attempted to run after him, but it was too late he was already gone. He sunk to the ground hot tears stinging his eyes.

"I only did this to protect you" His voice no louder than a strangled whisper "only you.."

Hehatedthe gaia project, and what he was forced to do, but it was for the best.
