You Are My Trash Can

"So... how did you meet Yosuke-senpai?" Rise asked cheerfully one day after they had solved the murder case and were just chilling on the rooftop, eating the lunch Yu had prepared for them. The brunette in question choked on his food as Yu simply laughed before answering.

"He crashed into a trash can with his bike. I walked away the first couple of times since I didn't know him and wasn't really sure what to do or what expect from him or even how to help him..."

"Partner, please... don't remind me of that..." Yosuke begged the silverhead as he sighed, picking up his chopsticks again as Yukiko nodded seriously with Rise's question.

"I'm rather curious about that too. How did you find him attractive when he was in the trash and all of that?"

"Well, at first I figured that he was clumsy..." their leader replied. "... something about such a thought made him cute to me... I'm not really sure..." he stated as he pulled the stuttering and blushing Yosuke closer to him. All the girls cooed and awwed at that as Yu smiled.

"But one fact remains: he is still very cute to me."

"Aww, senpai! That's just adorable how you were able to fall in love with him despite the incident with the trash and everything..." Rise grinned at him as the other girls agreed with her. "... what about you, Yosuke-senpai?"

"Y-Yu..." the brunette was tugging at the other's school jacket for a moment before answering. "... I guess from the moment he basically saved me from my own Shadow..."

"That's quite romantic!" Yukiko praised. Chie didn't question it. Her best friend was a bit on the weird side, after all.

"Indeed!" Rise was quick to agree as Yu spoke again, now looking at Yosuke as he did, with a huge grin on his face and a teasing light in his eyes. The brunette shivered, hiding his face by burying it into Yu's uniform, knowing what his partner would say.

"But you are my trash can, remember? I think that will remain as one of my favorite stories for a long time..."
