What Color are Yams?
Mew: Yes, I'm back. I disappeared for a bit, didn't I? Strange… maybe I'm still gone…Well, anywho, this is a new short story. Hope you like it. I'll move on to the disclaimer so I won't give away too much random…

Onward, explorers! Into the great unknown!
-From some weird person I can't remember the name of. (Oh, well, I tried.)

Rose burst through the door of the farm in Mineral Town with the energy of a pound or five of starfruit and sugar, yelling at the farmer, her best friend Koki, about yams.
"What color are yams?" She pleaded very loudly, waking the cows, "I have to know!"
Koki had previously been asleep, and hearing Rose yell, woke up, and yelled himself., "Ahhhh!!!"
"Ahhhh!!!" replied Rose
"Ahhhh!!!" yelled Koki
"Ahhhh!!!" replied Rose
"Ahhhh!!!" yelled Koki
"Ahhhh!!!" replied Rose
"Ahhhh!!!" yelled Koki
"Ahhhh!!!" replied Rose
"Ahhhh!!!" yelled Koki
"Ahhhh!!!" replied Rose
"Ahhhh!!!" yelled Koki
"Really, I have to know."
"About what?"
"Yams," said Rose with a crazed look in her eyes, "What color are they?"
Koki looked at his fellow farmer like she had lost her mind. She probably had… "Yams?"
"My book says they're brown, but in the picture they're red, and yours are maroon. What color are yams?"
"Have you been eating animal fodder again?"
"That's beside the point. I've got to know what color yams are!"
Koki shook his head. Rose was having another one of her 'moments'. He knew how to handle it. "What color are the yams on your farm?"
"Don't got none. That's why I'm asking YOU, silly!"
"What's so important about the color anyway?"
"I'm only planting green things."
"Planting season ended two months ago. You're supposed to be able to harvest tomarrow."
"But it's the first day of spring!"
"Koki slammed his head on the table. Without looking up, he asked, "Does Marlin know you're having one of your moments?"
"Superman had to go see Vesta."
"Good. Go join him. Vesta can tell you the answer, I've got work to do."
"Yay!" sang Rose, running out the door.
Koki then went back to sleep.
