Sanctuary
The voice was faint, yet familiar, loving. It slowly grew louder; 'Roxas!…. Roxas!', the feminine voice repeated. It was Namine. Roxas finally came to his senses, as if awoken from a deep slumber. ' They're together again, Roxas, we have to make the most of this!'. 'I…. Have a gift for you…', Namine smiled. 'Sorry,' He replied, taking the colourfully wrapped present. Roxas looked around. 'Where are we?', he asked. 'Our sanctuary….', Namine said, taking his hand, 'it's created every time Sora and Kairi are together… kinda like our own little world'. Roxas paused. There was nothing here, nothing at all… just him and Namine. 'Namine… we exist, don't we?', Roxas sighed. Namine nodded, 'Of course… we're different to the other Nobodies, we didn't fade into the darkness'. 'But… we only exist when we're together, and that's the only way we'll ever exist… our memories will never change… they will always be the same', Roxas groaned. 'Maybe… but being with you, that's enough for me… isn't that enough for you?', Namine questioned. Roxas nodded an unsure nod. 'Who knows, Roxas?, they said a nobody could never love… that you needed a heart to care, but we broke that boundary… maybe someday, we'll be able to make new memories!'. 'You're right, Namine, I do love you, so who knows, maybe someday we will', Roxas smiled. They hugged each other, ensuring themselves they really were standing there. 'Oh, Roxas, open my present!', Namine smiled. Roxas slowly unwrapped it, to reveal a drawing pad, filled with her drawings. 'Thanks, Namine- it's a really great present, filled with our memories', Roxas thanked her. Suddenly everything went dark. 'They're parting again Roxas, until we meet again,' Namine shouted as she faded away.
