A Beautiful Day
Ah, another beautiful day in Chaotic! The sun was shining, Tom was totally rockin' his match, and three orders of Dractyl Burgers were on the way. Oh yes, today was lookin' good. Payton grinned at Kaz who was watching the Drome match rather enthusiastically.
"Payton, did you see that?! Tom came out of nowhere with that last attack! Intress was wiped out like that!" Kaz grinned at him, snapping his fingers to make his point. Payton chugged the rest of his drink and jumped up.
"Oh yea! She was all, 'I've got you now!' and Tom was like, 'Oh no!' And she did this mad dive, 'ROOOOOOAAAARRRRR!' And Tom was all, 'Haha!' He kicked her into the air and, SHAZAM!" Payton landed face first on the ground, having fallen into a pretend rock wall.
Sarah rolled her eyes at the immaturity of her friends and nearly missed part of the match. "Guys, look! Intress is using Mugic!"
Sure enough a familiar song rang out along with the call, 'Song of Future Sight!' An instant later and Intress was coded.
"Looks like she's rearranging her locations." Kaz watched the large screen, unblinking while Payton called Tom on his scanner.
"Hey, Bro! Lookin' good out there!" Payton grinned down at the small red device as he waited for the reply. Tom nodded to his friend.
"Yea, but its close. We've both only got one creature left... and I don't think I've seen her's before." Payton scoffed at Tom in reply.
"Dude, seriously. She's out of Mugic and you've still got 2 left. Just use your Song of Resurgence on Staluk and you'll be fine. Besides, if things get dicey you've still got Decrescendo to back you up, riiiiight!?" He shrugged at his friend as if there was no need to even make this point. Tom sighed and nodded.
"Your right Payton. I've probably got nothing to worry about. I'll see you guys after the match." The scanner blinked off and Payton turned back to the giant screen.
"Come on Major T! Kick her into next century!"
Sarah scowled at the match as Tom's opponent selected her creature.
"Kaz, have you ever seen that creature before?" Kaz frowned and shook his head.
"No, but then again I'm not much for Overworlders. I'm sure it'll be fine."
Sarah nodded in agreement, but her instincts told her otherwise. This creature didn't look like much, but in Chaotic that didn't necessarily mean anything...
Hey guys!
As you can tell, this is only the first chapter... actually, it's kind of a prologue... ANYWAYS, yes I do intend to write more. I'm not planning a huge story though; I think about 5 chapters will be enough.
So, tell me what you think... and if you notice any problems or spelling errors, please let me know!
