"Pete and Pate" is the story about a twin zerglings: Pete and Pate. They survived in many deadly situations due to their courage, strength, speed and sometimes… luck! Along with Jeff the hydralisk, who dreamed to be one of the Queen's Guardians (a group of elite hydralisks known as the Hunter Killers), Fite the ultralisk and Teme, their overlord, Pete and Pate fight for the Swarm against the Terran, Protoss and other rogue Zerg.
The end: before the invasion in a new planet, Pete and Pate were pulled in the front line, they had to morph into banellings and sacrificed. Actually, their lives end when they morph into another strain. Jeff failed to be chosen as a Queen's Guardians because he hadn't had enough experiences. He was made to morph into a lurker. And Fite desperately fought for the Swarm without his closest fellows, he became more violent, bloodthirsty especially after he had gained his double pair of Kaiser Blades…
"PETE AND PATE" CHARACTERS:
PETE
An innocent, playful zergling, only fight because he thinks something is dangerous. Always care for his twin, Pate. Pete rarely does the thinking, but if someone has a plan, he's a good commentator which has a good solution. Pete got a scar on his forehead.
PATE
The one who makes the first choice if they have to decide something. He eats a lot and he's a little fat. And he always think about something after eating, habitually it's something very unusual, but sometimes he comes up with an odd but nice plan. He's selfish except for his twin and his fellows Jeff, Fite and Teme. Pate lost his left tusk, he was hit by a missile at the damaged hatchery where he had been born.
JEFF
A silent thoughtful hydralisk. Jeff only opens his jaw whenever he thinks it's necessary and that's why sometimes the twin pissed him off with their noises. But with their talks and jokes, he finally understands that life isn't that bad. He dreamed to be one of the Queen's Guardians, a group of elite hydralisks known as the Hunter Killers.
FITE
An aggressive, rough, quick-tempered ultralisk, joined as the last member of the crew. He always has a pride of being a big and strong creature, so at first, he hates the twin and the hydralisk linger around them. But soon he recognizes that one big fat ultralisk won't be able to do a thing if he doesn't have little friends who help him in the battlefield.
TEME
A gentle, fair overlord who controls and stops fights between the members of the crew. He receives orders from cerebrates just like other overlords.
