Vivio's Father's Day
"My Dad is going to love the tie I bought him!"
"I bought sunglasses, I saw him looking at them when we went shopping last week."
All the kids were huddled together, cheerfully announcing what they bought for their fathers. Everyone, except one blonde haired girl with mixmatched eyes.
Vivio sighed as she began walking home. This happened every year on the day before Father's Day. She should have gotten use to it by now, but being excluded from something that was considered normal….it wasn't a pleasant feeling for sure.
It was also a little lonely to walk home by herself.
Her best friend was currently wrapping their presents, or something similar. They both made up an excuse as to not make Vivio feel bad.
However, Vivio was smart enough to figure it out.

"What is it, Vivio?" Nanoha asked concerned.
"Um…." Vivio knew better then try to avoid the subject. Her mama was very persistent when it came to these things. "It's just that tomorrow is…."
"Oh." It wasn't very difficult to connect the dots. Wordlessly, she walked over to her daughter and wrapped her arms around her. "You may not have a father, but you have two kind, caring mothers. It may not be normal…but it should be just as good, right?"
Vivio thought it over for a moment before grinning and nodding. Her mood improving a fair bit. "Thinking about it now, it was a little silly feeling sad about that."
"You must get that from Fate-chan."
"Hey, Nanoha-mama…"
"Yes?"
"I love you."

Nanoha sat at the table, sipping at a cup of coffee while translucent screens hovered around her. She was going over the progress reports of her students.
Vivio hummed as she entered the room, her hands behind her back.
"Good morning Vivio. You're up early today."
"I just couldn't wait to give this to you" Vivio replied as she revealed what was behind her back. A box that had been wrapped rather neatly, with a big yellow bow on top.
Nanoha quickly tore through the wrapping paper. She carefully removed the item held within. "Vivio, I love it. Thank you. Not that I don't like gifts but…why did you buy it?"
"Well, it's Father's day…"
"Wait I thought Fate-chan was the father in the family…"
On the table beside Nanoha's coffee mug was Vivio's gift. Another mug, almost identical to the other. The only exception was this one was labeled:
World's Best Mother.
