The return of the Potter's.
It was the middle of summer vacation, a few days before Harry's birthday, and Ron, Hermione, and Harry were staying at Hogwarts for the rest of the summer. At the moment the trio are sitting in the Gryffindor common room bored.
" Harry, I dare you to cast the what if spell on yourself." An extremely bored Ron Weasley dared Harry.
" Ron! No! That can have serious side affects when you cast it on your self!" an indigent Hermione cut in before Harry could reply.
" Oh, relax Hermione, I'll give you ten galleons to do it, Harry." Ron offered.
" O.K. qué si "
There was a blinding flash of silver. What the trio saw when they could see again almost made them faint. Lily and James Potter stood in front of them looking confused.
" Hey guys," Harry said tentatively " I thought I was supposed to be the only one who could see them."
" I- I told you it could it could have serious side effects! You should never have done that!" Hermione said.
Then Lily and James started to talk asking where they were and when they realized where and who they were talking to they suggested that they go talk to Dumbledore.
"What's they point the what if spell should wear off five minutes after it is cast." Hermione said calmly.
" Um...Hermione I hate to tell you this but it's been ten minutes." Harry said looking at Hermione nervously.
Hermione paled and said " o.k. Let's go to Proffesor Dumbledore."
The Potters walked at a slow stride asking each other about the other's lives with Hermione and Ron listening closely. By the time they arrived at Dumbledore's office Harry's parents were fuming at how the Dursley's treated Harry. Harry, Ron, and Hermione had had a great time listening to all of James' pranks.
When Albus dumbledore Said 'enter' he wasn't expecting what he saw, For the first time in many years Albus Dumbledore found himself speechless.
"Well, Don't look happy to see us Albus" Lily Potter said jokingly
Albus paled and looked at Harry for an explanation.
"It was dare sir!" Ron Explained
Harry nodded, "yeah, Ron dared me to cast the what if spell, and well" he paused and looked at his parents, "This happened"
Lily paled "What happened?"
"Your suppossed to be dead" Albus muttered
