Prologue
Carlos set his pen down. After writing the 6 letters that would probably break the people he loved the most to no end, he was still set on what he was going to do.
Carlos put the letters into separate envelopes. He addressed them to Logan, James, Kendall, Abigail, Riley, and most importantly, Charlie. Tears welled up in Carlos' eyes as he thought about his girlfriend. They had been going out for almost 3 years. Charlie had made him the happiest he'd ever been in his life, but it just wasn't enough.
Carlos shed a few tears as he thought about the constant pressures that drove him to his breaking point. The fame, the constant drive to be perfect, striving to live up to his band mate's potential... life. If it wasn't for Charlie, Carlos realized he wouldn't have lasted this long.
He had so much to thank for her, and he was leaving her for good.
I hope everyone understands, my love for them is everlasting.
That was Carlos' last thought before he downed the bottle of pills in his hand and slipped into everlasting darkness.
