The Capitol Makes A Comeback

The capitol has been hiding in secret, waiting to overthrow the districts once again. The capitol suceeds, and regains control over the districts once again. The hunger games are brought back, more severe and brutal than before. The star crossed lovers of district 12 must work long and hard and deal with the emotional trauma when someone very near and dear to them is reaped.

1. Chapter 1

Chapter 1

(Katniss POV)

I jolt awake, screaming in terror as the tears stream down my face. I curl into a fetal position, the memories washing over me like a ton of bricks. I feel his arms wrap around me, pulling me onto his lap. I sob into his shoulder, the tears staining his t-shirt. Peeta stroke my hair as he whispers comforting words. I regain some control over myself, wiping tears from my face as I wrap my arms around his neck. He kisses the top of my head, and instantly feel a lot better. We're still sitting there in silence, me in his arms, when we hear a soft knock on our bedroom door. We look at the door, and it gently creaks open, to reveal two pairs of eyes, one blue and one grey, worriedly peeking in. I pull myself from peetas arms, and open my arms. They cautiously enter the room, then fling themselves into my arms. We all embrace in a family hug, then we fall back onto the bed and fall asleep in a big heap.
