Remembering.
Smooth, white sand. Sparkling blue water. Pale marble like skin slightly warm in the baking sun. Swimming with the dolphins. Feathers strewn about the room. Discovering hidden coves and exploring the island. Eating omelets every morning. Feeling my little nudger move for the first time. Discovering the one thing that meant more to me than my own life.
The happiest memories of my mortal life, meant to tide me over for the rest of my immortal life.
All of these memories I hold onto and carry into my new life. This new life that will hold so much more.
