Optimus was on patrol duty at the autobot base when he noticed something strange on one of the video feeds. He couldn't tell what it was so he decided to check it out.
As Optimus got closer to the unidentified being he noticed it was moving. Prime got his weapons out just in case it was a Decepticon ambush. The closer Prime got the more it looked like it had limbs. When Optimus was next to the being he realised it was a cybertronian and that it was heavily wounded so he told Ratchet over his comlink to prepare the medical bay.
After Ratchet had done some extensive repairs on the Cybertronian he noticed it looked like the mech had been tortured. Ratchet thought "What kind of sick butcher could have done this?" Ratchet began to feel disturbed at what he had discovered about the mysterious mech that he was repairing.
Then Optimus walked through the doors of medical bay 7. Ratchet was surprised to see Optimus in one of the medical bays without being damaged himself this showed how worried he was about the injured mech.
Optimus inquired about how the mech came to be tortured, ratchet didn't have an answer. "Ratchet, has the cybertronian regained consensus?" Optimus inquired. "As of yet no. he will need more extensive repairs. He may never regain consensus." Ratchet answered with great sorrow. "Are you sure Ratchet? Try your best if anyone can pull him through it's you." Optimus said with his hand on his old friends shoulder. "Right then I'll get back to work then."
