Jac Naylor walked down the coridoor of Darwin Ward so calmly, or that's what everyone else assumed. Nothing seemed to scare or worry her. Little did everyone else know, inside that head of hers, was a thinking tornado.

Jonny was the same. He always seemed so happy. However, inside Jonny's head was a whirlpool of worries. He tries to think of what he was going to say to his baby's mother later on today.

"Urm, Jac, can I have a qucik word with you on your first break?"

"It's not Jac, it's Miss Naylor. And no" she replied sharply

"C'mon Miss Naylor, it's important. Meet me in the garden at 10:30, sharp" retorted Jonny, walking off to do his daily obs, not letting Jac answer.

2 hours passed as usual; quite calm except from that one patient you always get... the difficult one. The one who tries to make themself worse than they already are. Or the one who doesn't speak unles it suits them

At 10:30, Jac was met by Jonny. He was sitting on a little blue chair in the peace garden. He stood in Jacs presence. Silence. Jonny knew what he wanted to say, he just didn't know where to start.

"I haven't got a PHD in mindreading you know" Jac said, sipping her coffee

"I. Jac. We. Us. We need to talk about us" Jonny finally spat out

"Us?" Jac asked

"Yes. You, me and bump" Jonny smiled. Jac didn't find it funny, so Jonny carried on. "I know, I know, it's big news for you but we need to talk about a lot of things. We've both got half an hour, now's the best time as ever. Where are we going to live? What..."

"What do you mean, we? I'll live at mine, you live at yours" Jac answered, knowing deep down, that's not what she wanted.

"Jac. Just listen to me. Please". Jonny replied. Jac said nothing. Instead, she sat and listened.

"We move in together. I love you Jac. You know I do. I know we've been through a lot but we can forget those things. You see, Mo told me. She told me you have endometreosis. I know Jac. I want to look after you when you need it most. We can move into yours if you want. You know it makes sence.. You think you can do it on your own. But reality is, you can't. You think you can wake up 3 times every night, change all the nappies, feed baby and play with her all the time? If you have me, you wont have to wake up in the night as soon as you hear her crying. I'll be there. Please Jac. I love you more than anything in this world, and you know how much I like sandwiches" Jonny laughed. He waited for Jac to say something. Anything. That she was angry at Mo, that she wanted to move in straight away, that she couldn't wait

"Why do you keep saying she? You said 'her' crying. Do you know something I don't know?" replied Jac

"I just want it to be a girl. That's all. With beautiful, ginger, silky smooth hair like yours. Shimmering eyes, just like yours. Strong and wise, just. Like. You" Jonny finished. He said all he wanted to. They were silent until Jacs beeper went off. They both stood up. Jonny couldn't help himself. He leaned in and they kissed. He had waited for this moment for ages. This is what he had missed.

"I love you" Jonny whispered into her ear, ignoring the repeating bleep

"I love you too" Jac whispered back
