Just a warning before you get into the story, I tweaked some of the characters to work better with the story. Hope you like it.
Tohru was busy hanging up laundry when she first thought she heard something. Everyone had gone to visit the Main House and so she was completely alone.
At first she thought that they were back and rushed down stairs to greet Kyo and Yuki. She ran to the front door, where she had heard the noise. She threw the door open.
But when she looked around she found no one standing there. Not even any animals that may have made the noise of someone approaching.
Meanwhile At the main house, Kyo and Yuki were filled with anxiety. They were forced to wait outside of Akito's room. They were told to wait while Shigure went in to speak to Akito in private.
Neither Kyo nor Yuki had any idea what was going on in that room as they waited, but whatever it was it had started to get ugly. From outside the room to all through the house the shouts of Akito could be heard. Shigure must have said something that stuck a cord with Akito.
The door slid open as Shigure hurriedly tripped out into the corridor. He fell to the ground face covered in a cold sweat of fear.
"What happened?" Yuki said rising halfway to his feet to see if Shigure was alright.
"We need to leave. Now." Shigure was already on his feet and heading for the door.
"What's wrong?!" Kyo shouted, bringing Shigure's attention back to the question that had been asked.
"We need to leave," he repeated. "Tohru may be in danger.
