((Emerald and Cinder knock back some wine and have a nice romantic evening. Silly and a tad sloppy but romantic all the same.))
Emerald sipped at her wine glass, the deep red liquid flaring up her taste buds. She was a bit young to drink, but she and the waifu were home alone this evening, so Cinder saw no harm in sharing a goblet or two with her. She wondered where Cinder had procured this particular red. The taste of it was intoxicating, let alone the alcohol. Cinder had remarkable taste in adult beverages.
Then again, Emerald's waifu had amazing taste in everything. To this day Em wondered how she had gotten so lucky.
"EMMY!" Cinder yelled, buzzing on her cup of merlot.
"I'm right here, Cinny. You don't have to yell!" Emerald rested one hand on Cinder's shoulder, the brunette laughing and grinning widely
"There's my waifu!" The wobbly brunette cheered. "Here, Gemstone, sit on my lap!" Cinder suggested. Emerald sat down sideways across Cinder's legs. Gods, did she have some legs. Cinder placed soft kisses on Emerald's neck and shoulder. Emerald's skin burned with desire. (A figurative burn. Cinder wasn't setting her on fire or anything. Emerald probably wouldn't mind, but that's beside the point.)
Emerald touched Cinder's chin and pulled her into a kiss. Emerald was drunk on more than the wine, to be sure. She felt a hand slide down her back and scratch her, driving her wild. She delivered a soft scratch of her own down Cinder's side, making the brunette smile into their kiss.
"Emmy, can I touch your butt?" Cinder suddenly asked. Emerald could only laugh. Cinder usually wasn't the asking type, but drunk Cinder enjoyed having permission.
"Touch it all you like, Cinny!" Emerald smirked.
"Stand up and turn around! I wanna look at it!" Emerald laughed even harder. "DON'T LAUGH AT ME, WAIFU!"
"You're so silly when you drink before our fun time, Cinny. It's hard not to laugh!" She confessed as she hopped off Cinder's lap and faced away from her.
"There's my treasure!" Cinder chimed, reaching out her hands and giving Emerald a good squeeze. She jumped at the touch. "Gemstone, I think you have the nicest butt in all of Remnant..." Cinder told her between squeezes. Emerald blushed ten shades of red.
"I don't know about that... Mistral, sure. But all of Remnant? That couldn't be true!"
"And why not? Just look at it! ISSO CUTE AND SQUISHY!" The wine was really taking over now. Cinder was a laughing, hiccuping, groping mess. Emerald wasn't about to stop her, though. "I just wanna hug it and love it and tell it that it's doing a good job!" She laughed through a hiccup before throwing her arms around Emerald's waist and pulling her backward.
Cinder nuzzled her forehead against the small of Emerald's back, kissing the back pocket of her Gemstone's shorts as she hugged Em's waist tight. "Blessed behind, you are so beautiful, and *hic* I LOVE YOU!" She drunkenly declared, planting a 'raspberry' on the side of Emerald's behind.
"Gods, Cinny! You're so adorable it's disgusting!" She rolled her red eyes at her girlfriend.
"I MUST CONFESS MY LOVE FOR YOU, WAIFU!" She chuckled. Emerald turned to face Cinder and pulled her up from her seat into a passionate kiss. Emerald pulled out of the kiss and kissed her way down Cinder's neck and shoulders. Cinder slapped a hand on Emerald's backside again. Not to be outdone, Emerald grabbed Cinder's and squeezed tightly.

The two of them lay sprawled across Cinder's bed after a night of raucous alone time. Emerald snuggled up against Cinder.
"Fireball, I love you so much!" The red-eyed girl confessed. "And not just because of that thing you do that I like!" She added for good measure, her girlfriend laughing.
"I love you too, Gemstone. And not just for your tongue." Cinder replied. Emerald could tell the wine had worn off some. Cinder had jokes now, did she?
"I thought it was my backside you loved the most! I mean, you spent a lot of time with it tonight." Cinder scoffed at her girlfriend.
"Drunk me really loves the behind, that is not untrue." They shared another laugh. "But really, my favorite part of you is you, Gemstone. You shine brighter than anyone I've seen. Even if gemstones technically don't shine, they reflect."
"You just worked science into a compliment! Be still my beating heart!" Emerald laughed. Cinder grinned at her gemstone.
"Say, what's your favorite part about me?" Cinder asked.
"Your smile, your eyes, and your fingernails are real contenders." She answered, Cinder chortling at that. "But my most favorite part is the whole package. You're a supernova, Fireball, and I wouldn't have you any other way!"
Cinder grinned a silly grin at that. "You're too kind, Gemstone."
"Plus when you've knocked back a bottle of wine or two you keep calling me 'Waifu', and that drives me wild every time!" Emerald added. The both of them burst into laughter. Cinder ran one hand up and down Emerald's back.
"Well, I'm glad you like my drunken stupor, Gemstone."
"It's perfect, Fireball. You're perfect."
"You're too kind, Gemstone." The two of them kissed again and eventually drifted off to sleep.
The next day they ventured into the city to peruse the local markets. The Mistral shops always had great deals, and a few Lien could get them a tonne of cool stuff and things.
"Emmy, do you think I'd look good in this dress?" Cinder asked, holding a stunning gold dress in front of her. Emerald thought her nose might start bleeding.
"You'd be stunning in such a garb, Fireball! A goddess made flesh, even!" Emerald answered before finding herself distracted by some barrettes. One, in particular, was shaped like a gem and bore the stone of Emerald's namesake. She scooped it up and pinned it into her hair. "Check me out, Cinny!"
The stone caught Cinder's eye, the fiery woman grinning ear to ear at the sight of it. "That's perfect for you, Emmy!" She exclaimed. Emerald threw the shopkeep some Lien for the barrette as Cinder paid for her dress. The two made their way to another shop, this one containing nerdy merchandise.
Emerald would need to be careful not to spend all her Lien here, so she settled for the latest issue of her favorite manga. Cinder bought a few comic books and a Grimm figurine to add to her collection. "I thought they stopped making Geist figures! They've gotten crazy rare!"
"There will always be more Grimm stuff! We've never had to stop fighting them after all." Emerald mused as the two of them journeyed home.

((I couldn't find Emerald's age anywhere, so I don't know if she's old enough to purchase alcohol or not. ZweI does not condone underage drinking, but I know it happens. Just thought I'd mention that just in case.
Anyway this ship has always intrigued me. I love Emerald and Cinder's pretty great, even if she is the villain. I always try and write them cute and happy fics. Emerald could use some happiness, for sure.))
