Emmett's Point of View
Crash! We need a new bed, again! Yea, this time I will make one! Hmm… should I make a waterbed or…ha, I got it… a feather bed. I will get the feathers from an eagle, and… I will fill a big bag with them. Hmm… It is going to take more than one eagle. Yea, More for me to eat!
I ran out. Caw…CaCaw…Cacaw…There's one! Running to the sound, I was thinking about how I was going to get the feathers off the eagle. Could I put a blow dryer to it? I bet Rose has one…or, I could shake all the feathers loose!
There it is! Eagle #1 stood on a rock not more than ten feet away. Ha! This was going to be easy! (Or so he thought…dun, dun, dun).
I sprang at the eagle grabbing its leg. It tried to take off. It got airborne, and I was stuck 200 feet in the air, fighting, with an eagle! Oh, and I am terrified of heights! Eagles peck hard, but not hard, enough to leave a dent, but hard! I will remember that next time I get in a fight with one! Peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, FALL!
Fall- Boom! I struggled back home to find Edward laughing, probably at my failed attempt to get a new bed.
"Yep! It was hilarious! I didn't know you were afraid of heights!" Edward said mockingly. Damned mind reader! He just laughed harder until I showed him why we needed a new bed. He was probably thinking, Uhhhhh!
"Huh… I did not know either. All those times we went hunting at Goat Rocks and I did not push him off the cliffs!" Jasper said sarcastically (because he had in fact pushed me off the cliff!)
"I hate you both!" I yelled as I went upstairs. There was already a new bed in our room! That Rose! I sure do love her! And it was a feather bed!
