Sonic and Knuckles were stuck in a temple.
Knuckles was reading a sign.
"Oh darn." Knuckles thought in his head.
"Uh...Sonic, I want you to go stand on THAT-" Knuckles pointed to a spot on the floor. "tile for the next 2 and a half hours."
"What!? How is that going to help us get out of here!?"
Knuckles face palmed.
"Just do it..."
"There is NO way you're going to make ME stand in place for 2 and a half hours doing nothing!"
"What if I made you Chili dogs?"
"You don't know how!"
"Well, its either you waste your time looking around, or you stand there."
"That's crazy!"
"Who's the treasure hunter here? Me or you?"
"I don't care what you say, I'm NOT doing it!"
"What would Tails and Amy think if you didn't come out of this temple?"
Sonic's mind immediately switched gears.
"Uuuuuuuh...right, I'll wait." Sonic proceeded to stand on the tile.
About ten minutes later, Sonic fell asleep.
"Wake up!"
"Huh?"
"There's no telling what could happen if we fall asleep in here."
"Yeah, whatever."
Sonic tapped his foot impatiently.
"This is soooooo boring..."
"I deal with this every day of my life. Surely you could put up with it for one."
"Ugh..." Sonic laid his hand against the wall.
Sonic's face started to turn red.
Sonic began to breath heavily.
Sonic punched the wall and hurt his hand.
Sonic banged his head against the wall.
Sonic started spindashing in place
Knuckles sighed.
Sonic messed around with a ring.
Sonic yawned.
Sonic started howling like a werewolf.
Sonic stretched.
Sonic ate some dinner.
"How long has it been?"
"Two hours and 10 minutes."
The door opened.
"FINALLY!" Sonic sped out the door, only to run into a tree.
"Nice job, I was just seeing how long you can actually wait." Knuckles ran off.
