In A World of Revenge
Hello. My name is Emily Thorne. First, may I be the first to congratulate you for being brave enough to talk to me. Most people who knew me at one point have turned their backs on me.
"Why?" you ask, well the answer is no more clear than this world we live in but I'll do my best to explain it to you.
I was wronged by some people who killed my father. I've made it my mission to settle the score with everyone who had a part in his death. That's pretty much the basis behind why I'm here in the Hamptons.
I once read somewhere that to get ahead in this world, someone has to suffer. To me, to even have a chance to make it, it's not about suffering on the part of people around you, it's making sure that you're getting where you want to be. Yeah, that sounds a little cut throat but that's my number one rule: Keep to yourself, minimize trust, and suspect everyone.
In short, this world of revenge is a bitch. Buckle up, this is gonna be one ride you will not forget.
A/N: I know this chapter is short and kinda basic but I have a few ideas brewing for the next chapter. Also, in no way will I be bringing the characters from the show into this story, save for Emily, Victoria, and maybe Nolan but the rest of the cast will be OCs.
