This is for entertainment purposes only, I'm not making any money with it. I don't own the characters.
AN: I wrote this right after watching the episode "Callen, G", so I guess there's a very mild spoiler.

The door opened and G stood there, leaning against the door frame. He was silent but Sam could tell that there was something he needed to say. He probably just couldn't find the right words.
"What's wrong, G?" He tried to make it easier for him, tried to coerce him into telling him what's on his mind. He knew that the past events were hard on Callen, he had been so close to discovering the truth.
He could see G's eyes shining with unshed tears. Moving slowly, as if he was scared Callen could turn around and bolt, he went over to the door and put his hand on G's shoulder. That's when something in Callen broke. The dam holding back every negative emotion he had ever felt crumbled and released the pain and insecurity he had hidden behind it for all these years.
Finally he allowed himself to cry and he did it with his face buried in Sam's neck. His hot tears left a damp trail on Sam's skin but he didn't seem to mind. He held him, anchored him, grounded him. He was the rock in his turbulent sea, his best friend, his love.
"I don't know who I am." His voice cracked and Sam tightened his grip on his shoulders.
"But I do. We all do." Sam kissed G's forehead and stroked his back, waiting for the tears to run dry.
