Disclaimer: I do not own HP. Those books are owned by the awesome J.K. Rowlings. The little chant that comes in later is from the book Lord of Chaos by Robert Jordan. The poem in front is my own (this is the only disclaimer that I will do, so no complaining later on! And no flames please)
Chapter One
I am outcast
Without the only person
I could ever bring myself to love.
In some perverted fashion
This pleases them, and they
Are ecstatic over this revelation
They ply me with clothes
In colors I will not wear
And books in the one genre
I refuse to read.
And they do this out of
The supposed 'goodness'
Of their hearts.
I will wear black or dark blue
And purple and dark green.
But I will not wear
White or light green
Or any light colors.
For they are the colors of
Life and health, while I
Am of darkness and death.
They give me books of romance
And fiction
As if I was okay with the solitude
They put me in.
They took my knives from me,
My one protection from a world
Filled with hatred
My sword is in pieces,
My prized blades shattered.
The sheathes, inlaid with
Jade and silver
Have been taken apart,
The silver melted down
And the gems mounted
On jewelry that my captors
Wear, and flaunt in my face.
Years I have spent in solitude
Slowly forgetting my life before this
When a thousand years had gone by
I had already given up hope of
Anyone remembering me and coming
To find me. I was one of the nameless
Faceless people of the masses
And nobody cared.
Author's comments : yes I know that the first chapter is short, the next one will be longer I swear! Anyway, PLEASE REVIEW! I need the love!
