Bird
She was gone. Never to walk again.
God took her. She loved him. Worshiped him. And he condemned her. Damned her for eternity.
The raven night sky shone outside. Dark clouds covered the stars. The moon barley showed through the night's cover. A lone bird flew the skies.
That bird isn't unalike from me. Mathias thought. He was alone. It was alone.
It let out a cry. As if looking for something. Calling someone else's name, looking for its other half. Its other part. Soul's aren't meant to be alone. They are given to use, the other part, given to someone else. We have to find them. He thought.
Was that bird alone to? Was its other half gone too? Like his beloved Elisabetha?
He came home from a successful campaign. When he got home none of the servants would talk to him. Only one, she told him about Elisabetha. She wouldn't stay after she told him.
He was alone now. This is God's fault. He thought. He needs to pay. Elisabetha never did anything to deserve this.
He needed to be immortal, a vampire. He needed to oppose God for what he did. No one ever opposed him. They thought he mad everything happen in their lives. He didn't, not anymore.
"Mathias?" a new voice spoke.
Leon Belmont. A long trusted partner. They rarely spoke now that Elisabetha was dead.
"Leon," Mathias answered. Leon would be a worthy partner when he became a vampire to oppose God.
But Leon would never agree.
"Are you sure your ok?" Leon asked. Ok? How could he ever be ok again in his life?
"Yes, just please leave me be," Mathias said.
"Ok," Leon said hesitantly. He left the mansion, leaving Mathias to his thoughts.
Mathias thought all day. He could get Leon to lose his faith in God. By taking Sara away from him.
But how?
Then the answer came to him. He plotted in his head. He came up with a unfailing plan.
With is main goal. To make Leon Belmont lose his faith in God.
The bird out the window let out another cry before taking off into the night, continuing its search for its other half…
Sad…
One of my best, I believe.
