The leaves were yellow and red, the fall had just begun. It was the end of September and I sat on a hill under a tree. I could see the clear blue ocean, and the waves smashed into the rocks. The sound of the wind was so beautiful. I was breathing in the fresh air and I just sat there in silence just me and wind. I could feel that someone was with me so I turned around.
- You're just in time Alexander. I thought you were gone. I said.
- I will never disappear, I will always be there. He mumbled.
We didn't say much to each other, we just sat there under the tree and listened to the wind. My brother stood up and said he had to go, he couldn't stay so long. I said bye and he turned around and looked me straight into my eyes. His blue eyes, his curly hair, we were so alike but yet so different. He started to walk again and then he disappeared into the light. It got colder and I decided to walk back to my house, I lived 5 minutes from the sea.
As I got back into my house I went straight to my bedroom. My room had purple walls and of course they were covered up by Black Veil Brides posters and a lot of drawings. Before I went to bed I took a shower and looked through my memory box I had.
- Hi. A familiar voice said. It was my stepsister. I looked at her for a few seconds without a word. She went up to me and sat down, she had a book in her hand.
- I found this when I was looking through some boxes, I thought that you wanted it. She handed the book, it was a scrapbook me and our little brother made when he was alive.
- Thanks, I… I didn't know what to say. I tried to keep the tears away but I just couldn't.
My sister hugged me and she started to cry too. We just couldn't help it, we had lost our brother 3 years ago. And that's something you'll never forget. We sat and talked for a few minutes and then she walked out. It felt good to have a sister, even though she's a stepsister. I've known here since I was a little kid so I didn't feel the difference.
End of chapter one.
