Goku alighted outside of his home after a long day of training and promptly made his way inside to the kitchen. After loading a plate full of his favorite foods, everything, he sat at the table and gobbled it down with more gusto than his training had required. When he was done, Goku walked out of the kitchen and sat down in the living room. With nothing else to do, he decided to watch the television to see if there were any crisises that required the Z-Fighters. Looking around for the remote he saw a weird electronic device on the table.
Without thinking, Goku picked it up and put it in his pocket. He wasn't sure exactly what it was, but it got him out of the house for when ChiChi would come home and see that nearly all the food was gone. The only one who would know what this electric thing was, was Bulma. With that in mind, he took off towards Capsule Corp. with the weird object in his hand.

A short flight later found Goku landing at Capsule Corp. and he saw Vegeta coming out of the training capsule that had been recently repaired and put farther away from the house this time.
"Hey Vegeta what's up?" Goku said cheerfully.
"What do you want Kakarrot?" Vegeta growled, not in the mood for Goku's incessant happiness.
"Well the thing is I found this weird thing on my living room table and I don't know what it is. I was thinking that Bulma would know what it was." Vegeta took the object from Goku's hands to look at it and pressed one of its buttons. The weird device started speaking and Vegeta threw it to the ground.
"What is this blasted thing?" Goku shrugged as it continued to make an irritating sound. Vegeta then charged up a small ki blast and shot the thing right as Bulma walked through the house door.
"Hey Goku, what's- ahh!" Bulma shrieked. "What have I told you about blasting things around the house!?" she then shouted. She looked down at the remainders of the weird device and tilted her head. "What was that supposed to be?"
Goku smiled and rubbed the back of this head. "Hehe about that..."
The rubble made a feeble ringing sound and Vegeta blasted it again. Seeing it basically gone for good, Vegeta stormed into the house without saying a word, leaving Bulma and Goku standing there awkwardly. Goku nodded and waved as he IT-ed back to the house with Bulma just staring at the destroyed object.

Appearing back at the house, Goku saw Chi-Chi talking to Gohan and Videl, oblivious, he hoped, to the lack of food in the kitchen.
"Sorry for the short notice Chi-Chi, but I thought I left my cell phone right on that table and now its gone! I just don't know where it could have gone!" Videl put her hands over her face and started crying. "My entire life was on that phone!" she blubbered through her tears.
Gohan put his arm around her and Goku stepped into the room and spoke up. "What does this phone thing look like?" he asked softly..
Gohan held up his own, similar to Videl's, and showed it to his father. "Just like this dad, why? Have you seen it?"
Goku gave a nervous laugh and answered the question. "Umm... Here's the problem. I kinda didn't know exactly what it was, and so I took it to Bulma's house! But when I got there... Vegeta was talking to me and then it made a weird noise and he kinda blew it up."
Videl lifted her head from out of her hands, the tear tracks quickly turning to anger and daggers were thrown at Goku. Glaring at him she walked over and slugged him in the shoulder, whether she thought it would at all hurt him, nobody really knew.
"Ill be back later right now I have to deal with Vegeta." Videl then flew* off towards Capsule Corp. with everyone watching her speechless. Gohan's eyes grew wide as they darted around the room and then he quickly took off after her.

*This takes place after the Buu saga in which Gohan teaches her how to fly.
