Well... Emilia Johansson asked for it and I really like the pairing so I'll just write it.
An important question
Brody Nelson stood in front of HER. He sighed. What should he say? How could words possibly describe how he felt for her and what he wanted. Just one wrong word and everything would be destroyed. And even if he asked the question... what would be her answer? If she'd say no... Brody didn't even want to imagine it. On one hand he risked their friendship and he was not sure if it was worth it. But, on the other hand, he felt for her in a different way than friendship. Nelson took a deep breath, closed his eyes and opened his mouth to ask... but then he closed it again. It was not possible. He could not ask her. He turned around to go, but suddenly he felt someone grabbing his arm. He turned back and looked into Raven's confused eyes.
"What's wrong, Brody? What did you want to say?"
Nelson shook his head.
"N...no. It's not that important. Just... just forget it."
But Raven could see in his eyes that he needed to say something... something that was like a burden for him. So she took both of his hands in hers and squeezed them.
"It IS important. Just tell me or I'll hack your phone and find out about it myself. I'm sure that you've got some hint on your phone."
Brody chuckled. She was right. All night long he had wrote text messages that he would send to her, but he never pressed the send-button.
"Okay. I- I have to ask you something, Raven.", he admitted slowly and Raven tilted her head to the side. Nelson was acting strange... so what did he want?
"Raven... would you... go on a date with me?"
The question was asked, there was no way back now. Raven looked at her friend with huge eyes and squeezed his hands even harder. She blushed... and she couldn't hide it. Her heart started to beat faster than unusual. Brody Nelson had just asked her for a date! Wow... she stuttered something incomprehensible and then answered.
"Ehm... of course I'd like to go on a date with you. When and where?"
A stone fell from Brody's heart. She had said yes. He and Raven would go on a date.
"I thought about dinner tonight.", he exclaimed happy and relieved and Raven smiled at him.
"Sounds good. Well then... See you tonight.", she whispered in his ear and kissed his cheek before going back to work. Nelson looked after her... He made it!
The end
