Yes it finally happened. TJ finally tossed her the ball. She smiled as she spun on her heel. She was about to take the shot when she immediately noticed someone standing in the doorway.
She gasped and dropped the ball. Her mother was standing there in Army uniform with a big smile on her face.
A tear welled up as she rushed over to her and jumped into her arms. She burst into tears as the entire gym cheered.
