Let me start off by saying that my name is Emmaline Victoria Vance. I'm a prueblood. I'm also the sole heir to Da Vance. I have long blonde hair and blue eyes that change depending on the mood that I'm in. I have the greatest friends in the world. Their names are Harry Potter,Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. I'm apart of the Goldern Team. Most people would say my life is perfect, but it's not. My father is The Dark Lord's right hand man. Like Harry I have a destiny. My destiny is to become the Dark Princess.
The thing is I don't want anything to do with the dark side. I made a choice a long time ago. I didn't want to become my father. I was trained to become a death eater and the future dark princess. My father would take me with him on his "business trips" to watch him kill or torture mudbloods. When I got about ten years old my father thought it was necessary for me to do the things he did. I have done so many unforgiveables that I have lost count. My life changed one night when my father wanted me to kill a muggleborn child. The child couldn't have been older than three. I didn't want to so I told my father that I couldn't . He killed the child slowly. It hurt me so much. That night I decided that I didn't want this life for me.
When I met Harry Potter on the train during our first year, I found my way out. Harry, Hermione, and Ron befriended me. I got sorted into Gryffindor. I remember to this day what the sorting hat told me: "You have everything it takes to make a great Slytherin, but the only thing is you'll do whatever it takes to protect the people you care about. You have been through a lot I see. With watching your father kill your mother because she would spend more time with you and then watching him kill the muggleborn child. I just finished my 6th year. Dumbledore's funeral has just finished. I can't think straight. He help saved me from my father. He has been there since I decieded I didn't want to become like my father. He has been there for me through thick and thin. The only other person that has been there for me is Harry. I would give my life up for Harry Potter. I love him so much. He is my best friend I could ever want and need. He understands me more than anyone. I can talk to him about anything. I don't normally keep secrets from him so how am I going to tell him that I have an arranged marriage to take place before my 7th year. I am to marry a powerful prueblood wizard. The reason why I've kept this secret is because the person I'm to marry is none other than the Slytherin King… Draco Malfoy!!
