Brother Mine
Summary: Restless of lack of opponents in the afterlife, Goku decide to head down to hell where he finds Raditz talking with some others. The guilt of his death and words running in mind of their first meeting Goku is surprise by Raditz's words making him blush at the term.
To say Goku Son is bored and restless is an understatement. He fought all his friends multiple times but it's tiring. It's always the same that he manages to overcome them. He tries to keep a smile but it's becoming harder to hold back his sighs. It's hard enough that Vegeta is more stuck in HLIF for a few more years before finally home in Other World to be with his family.
Without a single word to anyone he goes to King Yenma's Palace to for a simple pass to head down to hell for a bit maybe see if there is anyone to spare even have a talk with. Some of the ogres are rather helpful to him and hands over a pass to clear him to go back and forth to either place, Goku is happy about the generous gift before heading to Hell.
Upon reaching there Goku is surprise to find sitting under the tree relax is none other than Raditz talking with Nappa and Turles about something. He notices how Nappa seems to stiffen slightly seeing him before tilting his head where he is. As soon Raditz's eyes meets his sends the strange feeling of guilt bubbling in his stomach.
"Raditz," Goku softly said.
"Kakarot," The cold response seems to send chills down his spine. "What are you doing here?"
"Just.…just got tired of the Other World," Goku answers truthfully seeing mix feelings in those dark eyes as he takes him in. 'Not a brother to a killer,' the words creeps up in his mind of the meeting of Raditz coming to Earth.
"I'm sorry what I told you at the time…I was worried about my son's safety," Goku answers rubbing the back of his neck feeling rather foolish and embarrassed.
As if sensing this is to be a private conversation, Nappa pulls Turles away to leave the two tense brothers alone to talk. Raditz nods seeing they are going. With a hand he gestures for Goku to take a seat leaning back lost in thought.
"Just like mom," Raditz comments hint of a smile as his eyes close.
"What's her name?" Goku ask curious.
"Gine. From what I remember which isn't much how kind she was and her warm hugs when not scolding father," Raditz shakes his head with a wistful smile. "You are like her Kakarot….Goku."
"Kakarot is fine," Goku remarks earning a shock look in Raditz's eyes while the memory of Raditz's death starts to play in his mind.
"Brother Mine knock it off." The words follow by a sharp whack across the head startles Goku out of his stupor and stares wide eye at the older Saiyan.
"What did you call me?" GokRu ask hint of pink gracing his cheeks as Raditz lets a warm laugh Goku never heard but the sound seems almost from a far off memory.
"That is what I called you when I learn I to have a little brother. Brother Mine. Mine to protect, mine to love, mine to teach." Raditz explains starting to tug at his own spiky hair as Goku echoes the word liking it how it came from Raditz's mouth.
