"Please! Stop! Let go of him!" I screamed. They just laughed and taunted me. My I struggled to get away, but to no avail.
"Hey baby, don't worry," one said, "we just wanna play wit' cha." They burst out laughing as if it was the funniest joke in the worlds.
"Sis…" my kid brother whimpered. They had his arms behind his back and a knife to his neck.
"Please," I begged, "I'll give you whatever you want, just let my brother go." The men smirked to each other.
"Well," one said, "now that you mention it…" he walked over and put his hand on my breast.
"Oh, God. Please no…" I whimpered.
"That's quite enough."
I turned and found myself staring at a giant. A bald man, clad in a leather trench coat, no less than eight feet tall with biceps larger than my head.
"Let them go," he ordered.
The one who grabbed me pulled out a pistol and fired into the ogre's chest five times. He staggered back a few steps, and then stood straight again as though nothing had happened. The men all fled in fear, leaving me with my back against the alley wall staring up at a titan.
Then, before I could process what happened, the giant was replaced by a small boy, probably no older than my brother, maybe even younger. As he walked over to me I was able to see his face more clearly. His eyes were dark and piercing, a stark contrast to his warm and sincere smile.
"Are you okay?" he asked softly.
After a few moments I slowly nodded.
"How about you?" he asked my brother.
"Y-Yeah," he answered. A small grin began to appear on my brother's face. The boy turned back to me.
"Thank you," I said.
"It's what I do," he replied. "Get home safely, and don't tell anyone this happened."
"W-Why not?" I asked.
He chuckled. "'Cause they'll think you're nuts!" He looked to my brother and then back to me.
"See ya."
Before I could respond the boy burst into a cloud of bugs. I squealed and then the swarm of insects flew off into the night sky, leaving me and my brother staring in disbelief. We looked to each other and his face beamed.
"That was so cool!"
