A short Finniss oneshot. AU. I should note that the beginning is a dream, to clarify.
She is out hunting with Finnick. The peaceful sounds of the birds and the rustles of the trees are relaxing. After shooting some game, they go down to the river. Leaning her head on his shoulder, Katniss is almost asleep before they hear the explosions. There are no survivors other than them...

Katniss is shaken awake and she is pulled back into reality. "You're alive."
He nods. "So is Prim."
She relaxes against Finnick and snuggles into his chest. "I love you, you know."
"I love you, too."

.
They are in the woods together. Not hunting, but just walking, Prim skipping ahead every once in awhile to pick flowers, or check out a bug, or jump over a log. They stop at a river and soak their feet. Katniss lays her head against Finnick's shoulder and he lays his head on top of hers.
"Will you stay forever?"
"Do you want me to?"
"I wouldn't hate it."

Two weeks later, Finnick proposes. The ring is beautiful. Made of silver, it's embedded with a combination of deep emeralds and sea green tourmalines. The wedding is decided to take place on a beach, next to a forest, in District Four. It's just the place for the two of them.
.

.
There is only one person attending. Prim. Dressed in a beautiful yellow dress, she is the sunshine at the ceremony. Despite having only Prim for company, it is one of the best moments of their lives.

In a year, Katniss is pregnant. Finnick starts looking for names, but Katniss knows already.
.

.
Her cries of pain are so agonizing, he can't bear to watch. They cease only when the baby's first cry is heard. "It's a girl," says Prim happily. She cleans her off and gives her carefully to Katniss.
"Her name is Ren," Katniss says, staring down at the tiny face. "Ren Rose Odair."

Katniss watches her two girls play and splash in the water. Feeling two arms wrap around her, she leans back and sighs. Watching Ren and Grace, she can't help but think of their love. Although neither Odair had thought it would ever come into their awful lives, it had, and they were very blessed to have it: everlasting love.
