"Come on Harvey! We need to get to Patton's house! I need to work on my science project with my science partner, which is him!"Rachel yelled to her younger brother, Harvey McKenzie who she had to babysit. She also had to work on her and Patton's science project. They were partners and it was due in 3 days and they haven't even started working on it yet.
When Harvey came down the staircase, Rachel grabbed his arm and started running down the street to Patton's house. When they arrived, Patton was chasing Natalie, his younger sister around. She had his pants, and he was in his underwear. Rachel rung the doorbell and he started tackling her. Football does come in handy."Hang on, who is it?"He yelled to the person awaiting his presence of answering the door.
"It's Rachel and Harvey."Rachel answered back to him. Finally, through the window, Rachel could see that Patton got his pants back and was putting them on."Hey, come on in. Harvey and Natalie are about the same age, they can hang out upstairs while, we work on our project downstairs.
"Harvey, meet Natalie, Natalie meet Harvey. You guys go play upstairs and no bugging us."Patton persuaded them to go upstairs. The stood in dead silence for awhile. Then Natalie decided to break it."How old are you? I'm 8."She asked him nervously. "I'm 8."He answered back angrily.
"What are you mad about, Harvey?"Natalie asked confused by his unspeakable anger."I'm mad because nobody ever asks me how I'm feeling and they never care."He asked with a pout to his lip.
"Well, I do."She told him as she put a hand on his shoulder."DON'T…"He started to fade off."Don't what?"She asked again confused.
"Never mind."He said as he smiled.
