Azula walks stiffly down the road, lightning flickering in her hand. She was going to meet Chan again tonight, and this was the most nervous she'd been in her life! She strolls into a totally lame teashop and spots Zuko. She grabs him by the arm, spilling his tea, and growls.
"You're late Zuzu!" She kicks her foot up and creates a fire blast at him, sending the shop into chaos. Zuko deflects it, and says,
"Azula, stop. I'm coming." He removes his apron and fluffs up his hair. Then he grabs her shoulders and leads her out of the shop. She can hear Uncle calming the people inside. They walk down the lame cobblestone path, and into the lame restaurant. Zuko spots Jin, and runs over to her. They hug, and start a conversation about their last date. At the same table, Azula sees Chan. Beads of sweat roll down his forehead, and he looked a bit scared. Perfect. Wait, no, TyLee said not to scare him this time! So she sat down politely and laughed whenever Chan said something.
"So, how are you doing Azula?" Chan asks nervously.
"Hahahahahah! I'm great! Hahaha!" she replies loudly.
"Is this your sister?" Jin asks.
"Uh, yeah," Zuko murmurs, embarrassed.
"Well she seems nice," Jin says, forcing a smile. The table falls into an akward silence.
"Hahahahahahah oh Chan you look so funny scratching your ear!" Azula says. A few people at a nearby table stand up and leave. Zuko buries his head in his hands. "ZUZU! Keep your head up and be polite!" Azula screams. Zuko jerks his head up and looks at her nervously.
"Azula, I think you should calm-"
"I'm calm! I have so much more calm than you that I could rule the world! I could RULE THE WORLD!" Azula roars. By then the restaurant was nearly empty. A waitress comes to their table.
"I think you should leave," she says, glaring at Azula. She strikes up lightning in her fingers, and points it at the waitress.
"Azula no!" Zuko shouts.
"Please, don't!" Chan yells. Azula stops, and lowers her hands.
"Chin?...Do you really care about me?" she asks, her eyes wide. Chan scratches his neck and blushes.
"Well..Yes. I guess I do. I don't want you to hurt anyone though. Please, for me?" he asks.
"Yes... Okay," Azula whispers, tears streaking down her face. She remembered when her mother said close to those exact words. It was in her bedroom.
"Mother! You don't care for me! You think I'm a monster!" Azula had yelled, crying.
"I do care for you. I just don't want you hurting the kids at your school. Please, for me?" her mother had asked.
Azula hadn't cared then, but this time.. This time it hit her right in the heart. She pulled Chan into a tight hug.
"I love you, Chan," she said quietly. All was silent. But then Zuko, Jin, even the waitress, started aupladding.
"I love you too, Azula," he replied, and they pulled into a passionate kiss.
