A/N: Gosh, it feels like it's been forever since I've posted something. And by something, I really mean something KN. And, because you all know that I am always eager to increase the number of KN fics here, I have posted you all a nice little KN drabble. Not the greatest, but it was something I needed to write for myself, too. So, enjoy.
There is something about him that draws her eyes to him, Kel admits. She cannot exactly put a finger on it, but perhaps it is his easy grace, his quick smile, the flash of his green eyes. Maybe it is his steady wit, his quick tongue, or his warm voice, but something makes him stay in her mind long after they are parted, during the times she should be asleep. Something makes his jokes ring in her head long after they cease to be funny. Something makes his face permanently etched on the inside of her eyelids. Something makes her want nothing more than to stay by his side forever.
Kel doesn't know what it is, but there is something about Neal that makes him special.
She only wishes that she knew what it was, so that she could be special to him, the way he has always been for her.
