Prologue
In a peaceful world, filled with fresh green grass and beautiful sunny skies, lives and rests a young teenage blue hedgehog. He isn't an ordinary hedgehog for he is faster than the speed of sound itself. He watches his friends below from his cliff as he rests.
"Sonic! There you are!" Cried a young pink hedgehog.
The blue hedgehog, now known as Sonic, rolls his dark green eyes.
"Waddya want, Amy?"
"I thought you might want some company!" She answered cheerfully. She laid down beside him of the cliff.
"It's so nice to watch the world go by!"
"Yeah, but it gets kinda boring after a while."
Amy sat up.
"Waddya mean?" She asked.
Then Sonic sat up.
"Amy, I'm just tired of my life; having to put up with the same boring people in this boring world. I just want a change"
"Well, going out with me could make a difference." She suggested.
Sonic turned away to pull a disgusted face of repulsiveness. Eventually, he turned to face her with a relaxed face.
Maybe he might actually say yes! Amy thought smiling to herself.
Sonic sighed.
"Amy,"
"Yes?!" She exclaimed, her bright green eyes shining.
"There's a certain type of girl that I like…"
"Go on!" She grinned.
"And you're not my type." He finished as he lay back down smiling to himself.
Amy's jaw dropped open.
"What makes you say that?" She frowned.
Sonic rolled his eyes again as he sat up again. This time, he looked up at the sky as he spoke.
"My type is someone who power, is heroic and can defend themselves from any danger or trouble. And someone who is understanding and thinks of me as a best friend as well as a girlfriend."
"I fit all of that!" She protested.
Sonic laughed.
"No you don't. You're way too obsessed with me. You're actually quite weak on account I've been saving you for nearly my whole life. That hammer of yours is useless. And you can be really annoying sometimes- no wait, all the time."
Amy gasped, tears in her eyes, filled with sadness and fury.
"Well then, I'll just prove to you that this hammer isn't useless!" She said as she got it out to strike Sonic with.
Suddenly, a weird portal appeared and sucked in Tails The Fox.
"Sonic! Heeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllp!" He yelled.
"Tails! No!" Sonic exclaimed. He then heard a familiar chuckle. He turned around.
"Eggman!" He exclaimed.
"Well well well, just the hedgehog I wanted to see." Said Dr Eggman. He then pulled a lever on his hovering device which opened the portal.
"To see no more! Nyha ha ha ha!"
The portal's suction was too strong. Sonic tried digging his hands onto the edge of the cliff but lost grip and fell in.
"Woooooaaaaaaah!" He cried as he fell in.
"SONIIIC!" Cried Amy as she wept.
