one batch, two batch (nursery rhyme)

I love rhyming, even though I'm not sure I'm very good at it especially in story format, but I binge watched Netflix's Punisher and was sad his little rhyme wasn't from a real book... so I wrote it. I sort of assumed two batches of cookies made by a papa bear and his cub... It's a children's story, so it's short and really needs pictures to be more engaging, but... cha. Enjoy

One batch, two batch

Penny and dime

Papa bear's a baker

And so am I

One batch, two batch

Turn over the sign

Into the kitchen

To open on time

One batch, two batch

Bring over the bowl

Ready the oven

And light the coal

One batch, two batch

Carry in flour

Sugar, eggs, chocolate

And baking powder

One batch, two batch

Mix it all well

Ready the pan

And hope they'll sell

All in a row

Time to bake

The cookie dough

One batch, two batch

Cooling on a plate

The bakery is empty

So sit still and wait

Papa sold his cookies

(I was bored and binge watched the Punisher… and I have a thing for rhyming… hence this happened. I was kind of sad that One Batch, Two Batch wasn't a real book so I wrote this… I may edit it some if any better ideas strike me and I was thinking of illustrating it, but… gah college is killing me, otherwise I'd be writing more and finishing what I've got for my other stories. Ah well, enjoy and tell me if you think of any better lines.)
