OCEAN EYES
She awakes to find his Ocean Eyes
Staring at her in surprise
She's bruised, she's scarred, she's sore and scuffed
It seems she doesn't have enough
Fight left in her to move around
She wants to die, here on the ground
In this bleak dreary manor; so dark and cold
But wait- these memories are several days old
She takes in her surroundings- there's a bed walls rug chair
And a boy to her right with long ginger hair
With Ocean Eyes so bright, ten miles in depth
The ones she saw when she was an inch from death
She breathes out his name, a murmur so slight
But in an instant he's there, holding her tight
She remembers the hunt and the woods and the tent
She remembers that horrible day when he went
Into the woods and out of her life
Leaving her alone to face all the strife
The fear and the pain, the grief and the war
She wouldn't have her ocean eyes anymore
She remembers the crying for over a week
The strength that she had, however fading and meek
Had gone from her then, left with her tears
Letting out all her deepest dark fears
Then he returned right out of the blue
And she hit hard, not letting her smile shine through
Then not too long after, the trio was caught
Lightning Scar and Ocean Eyes left in a dungeon to rot
Bookworm was tortured with curses cruel and absurd
Forever marked on her arm was that cruel complex word
'Mudblood'
A word full of anger and hate
'Mudblood'
Meaning "one who shall never equate"
The word's nearly fatal, that much is clear
But her world's almost whole now that Ocean Eyes is here
She lays still, contently, feeling safe in his grip
She presses her nose to his bottom lip
Then their tears start to flow, slowly mixing together
And she wants nothing more than to stay here forever
With her Ocean Eyed boy with the long ginger hair
Here in this room with the bed walls rug chair
But she knows there's fighting still to come
And she knows that they may still lose some
So when it's certain there's no turning back now
And he starts to fret and wonder how
To get the house elves out of evil's grips
She can't help but make a dash for his lips
As they come together, meeting halfway
And as they cling steadfast and start to sway
She has hope for the future-sweet and unknown
And she finally sees how much they've all grown
Bookworm, Lightning Scar, and Ocean Eyes too
Blue meets Green, Green meets Brown, and Brown finally meets Blue
All three are sure of what they're meant to do
Together they'll fight. They'll win. They'll make it through.
And then Chocolate Brown Bookworm can be with Ocean Eyes Blue
A/N: This is my first attempt at poetry, so sorry if it's not too good But I absolutely adore these two and we were doing a poetry assignment in English, so I was in a poem-y mood.
