Forever and Always

Prologue - 2004
It was a rainy, in Forks it always rains, Tuesday in July. There was a fair down at the field, down by the lake. The first time I saw him, was in the line for cotton candy; he'd just turned around, and there it was. We locked eyes and I lost all interest in cotton candy, all I could think about was 'green, his eyes are green'.
It was like… I was drawn to him.
We walked towards each other, and, as soon as he was within an arms distance, he took my hand. I was spellbound by him, and didn't say anything, until he laughed and said: "I've been waiting for you." That five-letter sentence began the most perfect of perfect nights.
We rode carousels, he won me a teddy bear, but I never got his name, nor did he get mine.
We talked about everything; his love of music, my fear of flunking out of my first year of college, everything. As the stars became clearer, so did the foreboding sense of melancholy.
The fair closed down and I told him: "If it's meant to be, then I'll see you again." He kissed my lips, just once, took a deep look into my eyes, turned around and left.
I stared until he was consumed by the darkness. A single tear slid down my cheek.
I cannot promise, when the next update will be, but i expect it to be within a month.
